The downside of our lovely Valentines night, where OH cooked and we had a lovely romantic time, was the sudden onset of violent food poisoning mid afternoon for me, and for him late last night. I think this may be his way of changing our tradition, and getting back to the stage where he is never asked to cook. Feeling thoroughly "cleansed" this morning though (who needs a colonic eh!)
Oh no, what did you have to eat?:j little fire cracker born 5th November 2012 :j0 -

He did prawns and scallops to start which I suspect caused the problem. The main was steak and potato dauphinoise (which he bought ready made) with salad, and there was no pud. My guess is if I asked him he would tell me he bought everything at lunchtime and left it in a carrier bag in his office all afternoon until he came home and cooked at 8pm _pale_
FXd you have a line. CB digi usually recommended for first thing the next morning in these circumstances0 -

scottishchick - exciting... keeping everything crossed for you!
fannyanna massive ((hugs)) for the bleeding
Another day (CD41), another BFN for me. Can I ask a really stupid question? I am over a week late now and really don't feel like AF is on the way, but don't have any pregnancy symptoms either. Just feel normal, whatever that is... CM is quite watery/a bit creamy. Is it possible for one ovary to not release an egg (therefore no AF) and then for the other one to take over the next month and then just carry on as normal? i.e. just skip a period? I clearly have NO understanding of the menstrual cycle, and googling is a dangerous game, so would love any advice from the ladies on here!0 -
From QQ's post yesterday, scottishchick, it seems you're only 12DPO. I wouldn't expect anything more than a very faint line at the moment. Keep testing each morning! Things are looking good!"Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0

Yes that is possible. But if you don't ovulate or have AF by the time your second AF is due, you should see your GP, who can check your hormone levels and if necessary give you something to bring on AF and hopefully restart your cycle.0 -
Derby - glad it went ok yesterday and thanks for the info. I have been referred to fs for tests and so good to hear others experiences.
Fannyanna - huge hugs honey, that is such a shame and I really hope you can see a gp who can sort it out for you.
Nicki - sorry about the food poisoning, that sounds nasty
ScottishChick - sounds promising and exciting can you use a digi after 14dpo which should confirm for certain. Please let us know how you get on0 -
2ttb3 - welcome back!!!
((big hugs)) you have been missed, but absolutely understand you not wanting to be hear. I go through day like that!
Aida - PCOS buds! I was thinking, it would be nice to set up a separate board, not to separate us, but where we can specifically post about PCOS related things, like meds etc. Sometimes they get lost in everything here and I know I would find it useful. Anybody else?
Well today has been a spectacularly sh*t day. Went into work this morning and was basically fired.
I was self employed and the director had taken a dislike to me from almost immediately (funny how I managed to get past the interview?!) - had a bit of weird feeling about it all anyway, as I knew I was the third person in the role in a very short space of time. Its a bit of a complicated story. I'm upset because we desperately need the ££s at the moment, Im upset, she got in before I could quit, I'm upset that the role WASN'T what it was advertised to be (self employed), I'm upset that I'm even upset, but mostly.. I'm just bl00dy furious and want to punch her in the face.Baby 2b born March 2013! :j:j:j0
