2b - sorry to hear about the job but it does sound like you are best off out of there and I hope you can find something even better soon.0
-
2b they sounds like horrid people to work for, I know it doesn't help financially, but it sounds as though you are best out of there.
Peak on the cbfm today, hurray.
Trying to sort out some paperwork and sat with my scribble pad today. I started planning a reunion for my old school class the other day, and it seems to hav expanded, so am now organising a school year reunion. There's loads of interest already, bit nervous really as it was an all girls school and let's say I wasn't exactly in one of the popular groups, more a group of what they called freeks and misfits. (although wonderful freeks and misfits, I may add, that I am still in contact with all of them). At the same time I'm excited to be organising such a big thing.Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.0 -

That sounds fun - I was at an all girls school and, like you, in the freaks and misfits group!! I made some very good friends and am still in contact with lots of them! A lot of the girls who were very popular or 'cool' have mellowed with age and are now also very lovely and friendly if I ever bump into them!0 -
Hiya ladies
2b - sorry about your job, sounds like you are better off out of it, try not to waste your energy on being angry about them, they're not worth it! Start afresh tomorrow and see what a new day brings
scottishchick - how exciting, i bet you cant wait until the weekend! i'd be poas every time i went to the loo if i even had a hint of a ttlp!
kavics - sorry about bfn, i'd be shattered if i was you!! 7 days in a row, you are one lucky lady!
Well, operation holiday conception started for us yesterday. Hubby has a long weekend so we are going to try our hardest to BD everyday, and i'd really like to keep it up until next Fri, as due to every ov calculator i have tried I am at my most fertile for the next 7-9 days. I always have a pretty good knowledge of when I ov as i get pains in that area, just trying to figure out if I ov before, after or during the pain? I really, really hope we catch this month.. I am on holiday just at the right time so am very relaxed, I have no stress of work or anything. Fingers crossed we can stick to the plan this month!
Have to take the cats to the vet tomorrow.. Maybe we're not allowed a baby because we're taking away their ability to have babies, maybe we're being punished :rotfl:Got their boxes out the other day for them to get used to them, they can sense something is goin on they're being right little suck ups! They're gonna hate me tomorrow as i'm the one taking them to the vets as dh has a driving lesson and he's going to pick them up! Horrible mummy takes them to the scary place and lovely daddy picks us up, I know what they're thinking!!
DH is back to work on my birthday (Tues) so we're having an early birthday for me this weekend, takeaway tonight, little get together at my mum and dad's on Saturday and duvet day on Sunday :T
Wish us luck ladies, we're normally only a 2-3 times a month couple!0 -

ten minutes ago, came home for lunch and used an internet cheapie and it's still a tlp. I'm going to buy a Superdrug one for tomorrow morning and maybe a digi at the weekend if it's still not a BFP. When I was pregnant with DD the lines were always really faint and I ended up having to get a blood test to confirm.
Fingers Crossed it turns into a BFP:j
If you can think it........it will happen0 -
2ttb3 - welcome back! :hello:
Derby2 - rofl at you flashing the nurse! :rotfl: That's good it went well.
fannyanna - sending you hugs xxx
scottishchick27 - how exciting! :j Fingers crossed for a BFP!!!
2ba3c - sorry to hear about your job.
Well done to all the ladies getting busy with BDing! :T:T:T And good luck CherryDrop, hope you get a few sessions in!:D
Nothing to report here really. Been trying to find out more information on the whole soya thing. Apparently the study which said that soya can be detrimental to conception (around time of BDing) was based on women who had the equivalent of nearly a litre of soya milk a day. So at the moment I'm not going to worry about it too much. (I have soya milk on my cereal and in tea as I'm lactose intolerant).
Been trying to get my five a day this week and been taking the stairs at work. So trying to get healthier. Got a blood test on Saturday to check for inflammation in my body as the last one came back a little high. They are going to check it again to see if it is back down to normal, if not I will need further tests. (They are checking to see if my IBS symptoms could be something else e.g. coeliac).0 -
2b so sorry to hear about your work nightmare - as lots of others have said, it does sound like you are better out of there, but I hope you can make sure you get everything you are legally entitled to and find another suitable job really soon.0

Well...I went for my HSG yesterday. I can't remember who else said theirs was coming up, but I thought I'd give a review for anyone who might need one.
Fannyanna, how long since your last bleed?

God. I am sorry it wasn't meant to be insensitive. I said undiagnosed coeliac disease caused these issues. Once it is diagnosed and you start the exclusion diet all those problems disappear. It is the effect of the gluten which causes the difficulties.
I am very sorry I offended you. It was intended to be helpful, in the same way as people discuss other approaches which promote and enhance fertility. I shall go back and delete now and again I apologise.0 -
Lily_the_legend - for what it's worth, a relative of mine has coeliac disease, but it's very very manageable for her (basically lots of changes to her diet). Since it's been diagnosed and she has made the dietary changes a lot of health issues which she had previously have significantly improved or even disappeared completely.
As Nicki mentioned, it's undiagnosed coeliac disease which is the problem, not necessary coeliac disease itself.
In any case - I really hope the tests go well and the results come back ok.
ETA - cross posted with Nicki0
