    Soy Isoflavones (600mg a day)
Don't think Soy is a good idea when TTC. Some take it for 5 days at the beginning of the cycle to induce ov, but not the whole time:huh:
  • Sneaks back in the door ... again ...

    Hello Everyone,

Hope you don't mind me coming back to say hello after I disappeared off the face of the earth!!

For everyone who doesn't know me or remember me I was a long time lurker then poster up until Oct when I had an eptopic then I came back in November and promptly disappeared again!!

I had to take some time out from TTC because it was consuming me. I read this thread for at least 18 months, every post but I'm sorry to say I haven't read since then. I didn't stop TTC just stopped everything I was doing before - it didn't stop me thinking of you lovely ladies though.

Hello to everyone - I don't know why I stopped reading, just couldn't cope I guess but it had a negative effect really cos I stressed more and lost the support of a wonderful group of people.

So if you'll have me I'm back!!

Firstly massive hugs to all who need them right now, Bigz, 2ba3c, Mrs Happy and everyone else as this journey is pretty tough!! I have only read back a few pages so i'm really sorry if I have missed things.

Nice to see familiar names although I'm sorry for writing that, best intentions, hope we all aren't here for long!!

Happy Birthday Flee!! Ooh I hope we become cycle buddies again although I do remember getting told off a lot for SSing!!

Good to see you back Lemonmelon, so glad you are ok.

QQ thank you so much for keeping me on the testing list!! What a lovely thing to do, made me feel so good to be thought of and I'm so sorry for disappearing!! This is the first time I've logged on since November and I've just seen your message, I'll reply now. That was so lovely of you to think of me!! Wonderful job with the lists as always!! I'm CD 11 today, awaiting OV and I'm 31 now.

Fannyanna - my friend had a telephone conference with Zita West about her fertility problems and said she was amazing!! She was pg within 2 months of talking to her!!

Candlewax - Our stories are almost identical, I had surgery at 8 weeks for ectopic and lost a tube. I had a follow up last week and they told me I still had the same chance as a person with two tubes because the tube migrates to catch the egg each month if you only have one. Will keep everything crossed for you.

Last thing about me, the day after my op the surgeon said i would never get pg as my remaining tube was blocked and badly damaged and there was nothing they could do, anyway I pushed for the dye test and when they did it, although it took some time for it to spill out, it did and they said it looked fine? Just shows you never to give up!! So i'll keep trying!! Going back in 6 months and if nothings happened by then going to be referred for IVF.

Just before I go a massive congratulations to allthe BFP's since I disappeared!! Emsbet I'll be stalking you now!! Love to everyone.

Sorry for the massive post, won't disappear again and lots of love to all.

    Welcome back 2ttb3

I think there was a newbie I've not welcomed?? :o

Fannyanna, hope this is the beginning of some more reasonable looking cycles! How's DH doing?

I'm reading along, but a smidge too distracted to take part much :o
AF not so bad today, but cramps are still crippling, and man-flu gripping on. MIL still in hospital.

How much of the Agnus Castus do you take? I've tried googling but it seems everyone is taking different amounts.

Is it Agnus Castus that you take up to ovulation or do you take it all the time?

Mine is 400mg once a day up to OV.

Just got in from a drink with the girls. Went to a pub in the village that has just been reopened, I haven't been in there for years. And was very pleasantly surprised. Usually here you get starred at when you walk through the door with people that aren't from the village, luckily I knew loads of the other customers.

Just had to post from lurking to say a couple of things-

Botty pain - I am wetting myself with laughter after reading that!

OBEM - I was fine until the Dad called his mum to say theyd had a baby girl, but couldnt get the words out as he started crying - well that set me right off! So sweet.

My cycle - looks like its going to be my longest ever cycle since coming off the pill. So pretty much a relief that were not ttc this cycle as its so frustrating not knowing why this is happening.

Lunaconception thingy - will be interested to see if this works in shortening a cycle. But thers no way I can sleep unless its pitch black so dont think it would work for me sleeping next to a light if thats what you have to do?
  • Welcome back 2ttb3 - so glad to hear that hope is still well and truly there and wish you the best of luck on continuing your journey...

Hugs to all on the thread who need them at the moment.

I am having a whole bunch of mixed feelings at the minute... I have a very close knit bunch of friends, none of whom have children or are pg - due to life getting in the way we dont see each other as often as we like but when we do it's fab and inevitably someone always has exciting news... this time one of my friends has just announced she is 12 wks pg, so she is the first amongst us and I am soooo excited for her as she is thrilled!!!! :D

But secretly I am also insanely jealous - and didnt help by the fact that every single one of my friends (including her) turned around and said that they honestly thought I'd be the first :(

And I also cant help feeling wholly inadequate as I have been trying 6 months (I know this is still not long) but she admitted that she'd only been trying for 3....

she knows I am trying and she really wants me to get pg so we can be baby buddies but think that just made me feel worse incase things dont happen that way.

She is sympathetic to the fact that it hasnt happened yet but I wasnt going to rain on her parade - it was her day - and although genuinely happy, I was crying inside, my feelings are all over the place.... and just let it all out when I got home... :(

Poor OH, he must wonder what's up with me sometimes and I'm sure if he could just wave a magic wand he could, bless him :o

    Hello everyone

Can't believe how many newbies we have this month :j:j:j:j. Hope our stay is short.

Big hugs to all CD1 and m/c. I wish you all healthypregnancy.gifand healthybaby-2.gif(this baby is soooo cute!)

Quick update about me and lunaception: on CD14 (so 2 days ago) I've exposed myself to light for at least 30 minutes (walking outside and a little bit of gardening yesterday) + both yesterday morning and today (now :D) I've been using my lamp (normal table lamp) for 30 minutes just to top up my exposure to light.
This morning I've noticed some EWCM. Not much but it was really streachy. I'm speechless.

Another thing: I can't believe how many PCOS ladies are here! I thought I was the "only PCOS chick in the village :D" That's why my cycle is 35-45 day long and over the place!
