Squ1rrel - hugs feeling jealous is normal and doesn't mean that you are not happy for your friend. It does seem unfair to hear of those conceiving quickly but when you get you BFP your journey will have been worth it.0

Morning everyone!
How are we today?
Hugs to everyone on CD1. Once again I seem to have missed so much!
I think there was a chat about OBEM-I cry at every single episode. I know it is every single one because I start crying at the opening credits LOL! Crying in a happy way though. I loved last nights episode. I've not got any children yet so I find it all absolutely fascinating.
Well...I went for my HSG yesterday. I can't remember who else said theirs was coming up, but I thought I'd give a review for anyone who might need one.
The first obsticle was the fact it took place in the childrens x-ray department (great for people struggling with fertility!), and the second was that my sister had her 12 week scan about 10 minutes before my HSG and just around the corner of the hospital (what a happy coincidence!). So, in the end I was more worried about bumping into my sister and having to put on a brave face than the procedure itself!
The procedure itself was absolutely fine...in fact, I found it less painful than a smear. I had brought some Feminax with me in case I needed to take some afterwards, but I was very lucky and didn't feel a thing. It's mostly like a smear (speculum etc.), and then she just put the dye in and took a series of x-rays while the dye distributed. Then it was all done, and I was given a lovely old style NHS sanitary towel to put on but luckily I had taken my own instead.
Afterwards there was a bit of stickyness (nothing worse than what you're used to when TTC ;-)), and no cramps, so I made DH take me out to lunch
My tubes were apparently fine with no blockages, so we BD last night and I'm glad we did because I got my smiley face on my OPK this morning.
Sorry if nobody wants to read thisand apologies for those who have already experienced it, but I thought in case anybody on here gets this far (and I have my fingers crossed no-one does!), then I thought it might be useful.
Oh, and the only very embarrasing bit was where the nurse asked me to lift my bum up so she could put some paper underneath, but for some reason I just lifted my gown and showed her my bitsI clearly wasn't listening...goodness knows what she thought of me. I must have come across as a flasher :rotfl:

I don't think this is a period. I'm back in bed having called in sick at work as my bathroom looks like I've killed someone. I'm pretty certain this is the same bleeding I had before and I now feel so stupid for thinking it would be a normal period and for gearing up to trying to conceive again. I bought a book yesterday and everything but if this Carries on like before I'm going to have to go on the pill. I feel so sh*t right now :-(
Sorry for moaning...again!0 -
Glad it went well Derby and thanks for the info, good to know for the future
Managed to BD yesterday afternoon which will hopefully end up being well timed as my nipples are sensitive and I think that's an Ov sign. Only problem with so much BDing is I can't tell if I have EWCM or its semen lol
Had a great night last night visiting uni friends in Cardiff. Really want to move there now lol bit hungover though for having to drive four hours
Joined the gym online, guna pick up my membership card on the way home and have a first visit tonight whilst DH is out with friendsx x

-ve OPK for me again yesterday, not even a hint of a second line. CM still sticky, but a bit stretchier this morning, so I think it's heading towards EWCM.

I've done a test this morning and think there is a very very faint line but only when I look at it from a certain angle, wish I hadn't thrown away the FMU so I could've tested with another. I really don't think it's positive so I'm not building up my hopes.:j little fire cracker born 5th November 2012 :j0

Don't drink anything for four or five hours and have another go! It's about the concentration of your wee, not the time of day, I believe."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0 -

:j Buddy. You are inspiring me. My living room is a tip, and there was no bedroom action last night. But I have already had my cuppa and toast this morning
The downside of our lovely Valentines night, where OH cooked and we had a lovely romantic time, was the sudden onset of violent food poisoning mid afternoon for me, and for him late last night. I think this may be his way of changing our tradition, and getting back to the stage where he is never asked to cook. Feeling thoroughly "cleansed" this morning though (who needs a colonic eh!)
Still waiting for my Ovarian reserve tests. Forgot to ask how long it would be and know my doctor is on holiday next week, and not sure how long he is away for, so hope they come back before he goes.0 -
