Just thinking, when taking my temperature could I just use a normal thermometer, like a 99p shop one? x
Cherry, it should have 2 decimal places in order to see the temp changes. Mine was something like 5 pounds from Amazon.

QQ is it possible to send me a link with the OPKs that you use? Have you ever had 2 lines with these cheap OPKs?
These are the ones I use:
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Highly-Sensitive-Ovulation-Fertility-Strips/dp/B001G7P62S

I usually do one using FMU, then one around 4pm and one just before going to bed.
If the lines starts to get darker, I may put one in at around 8pm.

I get clear positives, as in the line is darker than the control line.
    Also, I cheat, and POAS:p

You dont realise how much you use it until you dont have it for a while, felt like we were in the dark ages for a bit there :rotfl:
    I know, I don't know how I lived before 1999 (when I got online):o

Some do, and it does work, but it'll be more accurate if you use one with 2 decimal points:)

:hello:QQ - I'm ok just really tired - think I'm going to go for a nap in a minute when Moon gets back from work. The cat is curled up on the bed at the moment, and it looks like a good place to be, especially as he's taken to guarding me at the moment. ;) I think he's sensed something is different about me. Have had a good day today - got my hair cut this morning, and I've not felt sick today, so I'm making the most of it. :)

How are you? Any news on your IVF?

Still nothing happening here. CD37, would usually expect to see AF anytime now really, so am on constant knicker-watch. DTD this morning as I thought it might hurry things up! Not that I want AF, but if it is coming I just want it to get on with it so I can get into the next cycle.

Pretty sure it's on the way at some point as not a single pg symptom in evidence.

My Dad's still in hospital. He'll have an angiogram (sp!) next week sometime and then they'll take it from there. Saw him yesterday and he seemed ok, bit bored at being stuck in there but overall not too bad.

Hugs to everyone that needs them, and congrats on the BFPs. Looks like it's going to be a bumper month.

How was the cut? Wasn't it a new stylist as your old one left some time ago?
    Any news on your IVF?
No, nothing, I have some work trips this cycle, so am taking a break:o

My MIL had one of those putting a catheter through her wrist thingy earlier this week:) She has to have a heart op soon:o
  • QQ - Can you put me back to awaiting ov please? I'm still getting lines on my opks and they appear to be getting stronger daily so I think I misread them the other day!!

Felt a bit crampy yesterday so hoping it happens next couple of days - possibility of ov on Valentines Day, that would be nice!!

Congratulations to the last couple of BFP's - great news!! :j

What a sweetheart cat :) when I was pg Rocky wouldn't step on my belly when he was trying to get comfy on me, i think they can totally tell :) x x

I think the cough syrup is starting to work, just getting so impatient for Ov now, hate having long cycles, they suck!

House hunting was fun but too many happy families, seemed like everyone had children but us, which just makes me feel like a freak/broken x x

TeamLowe, house hunting is a pain. I have been waiting 2 years to get divorced and get my payout from this to put towards a deposit. I have looked at several houses over the past 1.5 years and the houses are never perfect. Too much work needs doing with no return from this, not enough space, too expensive, tiny gardens and no parking.
Got my perfect house though now, just waiting for structural report and then we are on our way.
Good luck saving up, I needed £25k deposit, which is the minimum deposit atm.
