CD2 here. Had a few false starts but full on now.

Can't believe how many AF has come to in the next day or two but great to see one ( hopefully two) bfps.

Think OH will be working away this month when I ov. He will be overseas and I can't go with him so unlikely we will be successful next month either.

Walked past Mamas and Papas yesterday and a lady came out with a baby - OH said 'do you think you can buy one in there - does the baby come free with the pram'. If only!

AF is oficially in the building so CD1 for me today please :(

Spent a long time last night looking through amazon for fertility aids etc. Feel like I am a newbie to all this charting / EWCM etc. So I am going to buy a couple of books, some cheap ov tests and a thermometer and start charting this month. Going to put off buying a CBFM for a little while due to the cost, as I think I need to learn a little more about how my body works. Also gonna take some more vitamins n supplements this month and generally try to be healthier. Obviously if in a couple of months I am still getting nowhere then I will buy a CBFM :rotfl:

Going to put a lot more effort into learning how it works so that we are putting in more of an educated effort this month, lol!!

Cherrydrop - my cat is much better now thank you. She is back to going outside and no more accidents now. She does much prefer to be outside to do her business bless her. Hope next month is our month too! I'm thinking of starting out knitting after that picture the other day - I am inspired!! Wouldn't it be lovely if our baby had on something that I had made for them. My DD was given some basic knitting needles and wool for christmas so maybe we can learn together? I think I will add a beginners knitting book to my amazon order, lol!

Car is still v poorly tho and won't be fixed until monday at a minimum, so thats really disappointing. :( And worrying about the bill as well, but hopefully my brother will be kind! I've paid for some of the parts as we have gone along, so I hope it isn't too scary a figure :o

Going out for a meal today for a friends 30th birthday. Its at a posh place and its at lunch time. Can't say as I'm ever so much looking forward to getting dressed up for saturday lunch - it just seems strange! And whilst my daughter is not a fussy eater in the slightest, I don't think they have a seperate childrens menu and from the sample menu I don't think she will be over interested in anything. Feel so mean not being bothered by it, but it just seems like a lot of hassle and expense we can do without after the week we have had :o Would much prefer a jama day, lol! I must be getting old :o

TTC40 - me and my daughter always look in the baby section in catalogues and choose which baby to 'buy' (ie the ones modelling the outfits, lol!) Sometimes wish it could be that simple, but we will appreciate our babies even more knowing the journey to get them has been harder than some.

Teamlowe - hope you enjoy your house hunting :j I think its a fab idea to get you to visualise what you are saving for.

Waiting for internet man to turn up to fix our broadband, its been off for over a week grrr. Then going into town to see Arg from TOWIE, yes, i am unfortunately an Essex geek!! Have a lovely weekend if i dont get a chance to post again ladies! Xx

I am sooooo jealous - I LOVE TOWIE and Arg especially. I feel so sorry fo him now that he and Lydia have broken up, she blatently thinks she can do better now she's slightly famous. Cowbag, he's such a nice boy.

Where's Walaby with her test??!! Hope it's a good result.

Do you ladies all think that in the same way that ladies who live together have cycles that eventually go together it's happening over the internet!? It is slightly weird how many of us are on CD1/2/3

I've had a huge bust up with oh this morning. I'm grumpy cos I'm a) not pregnant b) feeling fat c)it's my birthday on Monday and he's organised nothing nice for this weekend. I've got to do it all, which leads me on to the whole "i do everything for you" argument. Then he declares he doesn't want to go skiing which I am not happy about.

So I've booked myself a massage for later:j

Congrats Walby - great news :j

Hugs for the CD1/2 and BFN ladies :(

Reflexology - I had this done maybe 5 times I think when I was TTC DD and it's meant to gee up your fertility spots and whatnot. It was very relaxing but it wasn't doing anything for me TTC wise. The month I went without it was the month I got my BFP, so I don't know if it's linked or not!

I've had a fair bit of cramping today - poss ov pains, but I thought I ovd a few days ago. Nuisnace though. Or could be trapped wind. I tempted to get some ov sticks for next cycle but must resist!

It's cold today so keep warm all x

    Afternoon Ladies,

Hugs for all of you with AF, does that mean that there will be lots of babies born in November/December (well, I'm keeping my fingers cross for all of you)?

And huge congratulations Walby and Snowy! So glad you got your positives!

I'm on CD5, 6? Don't really know, decided not to follow it this month, I don't want to stress about it. I have enough on my plate with OH, he really doesn't feel well and the healing is really slow after the operation, he has one more week off than needs to go back to work which will either help or make it worst. He is so down and I can't help stressing myself about it:(.

I've traded in a couple of OU books on Amazon, bought a Kindle in Cashconventors which is selling on ebay now with a good profit, so I have money coming in, just so happy:). OH is a real bargain spotter at CC, we bought tons of stuff dead cheap and made profit on them. The Kindle itself currently stands on £60 profit which is just amazing!
  • Does anyone else feel they 'deserve' a treat when AF arrives?
A new lipstick or a sticky bun or new shoes? There's always something......
If at first you dont succeed, try, try again
