Hi Ladies,
Hugs for all the CD1 and for anyone generally having a crappy time and/or feeling down.
I am CD50 and 14 DPO today and last cycle was either 47 or 48 days (I couldn't remember when exactly I started but know it was one of those). I took hpt when I got home from work this afternoon as there is no sign of AF starting, although I was fully expecting a BFN but I *think* I might have a tttlp. Am going to test tomorrow with FMU to get a more accurate result.... Don't know how I will sleep! Became Mrs W in 2011:smileyhea Blessed with Baby boy 1 in 2013, Baby boy 2 in 2016 and Baby boy 3 in 2018 :smileyheaDebt @ 19/8/11 [STRIKE]£20,060 [/STRIKE] current £0Paid off 100% :dance:0 -
Snowy - Congratulations!!
Dundediva - I get a bit nervous when I get down to my last pregnancy test, like to have at least a couple just in case I need them!
Skint Chick - Hugs, we can let you wallow a bit, biggest sympathies to your friend tho, how awful
sexymouse - glad you and the bean are ok, was very worried for you
Loving the PMA lists..... cant quite manage to think of any right now for myself though
CD1 for me todayand I feel pants.
QQ please put me back to the bottom of the list (boo) Its been a real PMT week this week, yelling at DH for not 'understanding' eating half the contents of the fridge and just not feeling myself.
Hugs to anyone else on AF, sometimes I dont like being a girlIf at first you dont succeed, try, try again0 -
Aaaaarrrghhh CD1 for me too. I knew anyway as I tested earlier in the week (many times
) and got BFNs but there's always a little thought that the tests might be wrong.
I felt sure this was our month. Now 6 months since my last loss and I'm feeling the pressure a bit. I can't understand how I fell pregnant twice last year so easily, and now it's not happening.
Oh well, much wine & chocolate to be consumed this weekend, then back to the PMA
Congrats to Snowy for the BFP and hugs to anyone who needs one  Have a good weekend all xxx0 -
Evening everybody!
Walby - that's very exciting about your ttlp, fingers crossed you get a BFP in the morning!
Far too many people on AF at the momentBig ((hugs)) to all - here's hoping that means that in about four weeks we'll have loads of BFPs from this cycle
I am still in limbo, now CD 35, 17 DPO and no sign of AF although still having stomach cramps, and feeling a bit moody today which is typical for me pre-AF. Really wish it would hurry up and get here so that I can get on! Tests all BFN.
I think I probably OV'd later than I thought, so thinking of temping next month. Can anybody recommend a good reliable and reasonably priced thermometer? Ideally I'd like one which remembers your temperature so that I don't have to properly wake up and write it down immediately (I'm not great first thing...!).
Have nearly run out of pregnancy tests from my IC bulk buy so about to go and do some shopping on Amazon! I only have two ICs and the clear blue digis left (twin pack which was only about £7 on Amazon :money:) but I am saving those for when I have a positive on a cheapy!
Hope everybody has a nice Friday night0 -
Portsmouthali and Rum - hugs for af, seems lots of you on cd1
Walby - how exciting, fingers crossed for you.
I just had a lovely deep tissue back, neck and shoulder massage after I finished work, it was lovely and just what I needed.0 -
Lots of you lovely ladies were talking about knitting earlier and I have decided I want to learn! Can anybody point me in the direction of a good book to learn (I'm a total beginner!)
Had lovely news today, one of my friends who has just been through her first round of IVF is pregnantSo I decided I want to knit something for her baby!

Yayy Walaby for your TTLP :j
Agree with Mrsj tho - far too many CD1's at the mo:( Hugs to all that need them.
I have had more spotting, but I aren't classing it as CD1 yet iykwim as its not in full flow - but I am no longer going to fool myself that the 8 pregnancy tests I have taken were false or that the blood might not mean anything.
Right - I am back with my PMA:
1) I have an amazing husband, who is incredibly supportive and makes me laugh and smile all the time even when I am being a complete wally
2) I have an amazing DD who makes me proud and makes me smile every single day
3) I will have a baby one day. And I will appreciate our baby even more knowing its been a longer wait
4) I get to stay with you lovely ladies on this board for longer and its easier this month knowing I have people who understand where I am coming from to chat to
5) I will have longer to pay off my debts and be in a better financial position
6) I can have a drink or 3 for the next couple of weeks :rotfl:
7) Maybe I will even learn to knit and make our baby something special
8) When we go away in summer I won't be mahoo-sive and unable to join in things (well, hopefully not - altho I did put on 5 stone with my DD during pregnancy :eek:)
Hmmm, think thats it for now.
Plans for next month are:
1) Take extra supplements / vitamins. I just take a bog standard folic acid at the moment. Does anybody have any recommendations? I saw someone post about conceive plus I think? And good?
2) Hubby is gonna take some vitamins. I read that vitamin C, E and zinc will help his boys mobility and numbers.
3) I am going to buy some ovulation sticks this month. Haven't used any yet, or taken temperatures or anything. I have been doing it based on 'dates' but seeing as my cycle date has varied so much this time I think I will need extra help this month.
4) Try and relax! And not get too wound up about the whole TTC lark (think this one will be hard! Its all my brain seems to think about)
5) Try not to get my hopes up so high next month
Hope everybody else is doing ok and has a lovely weekend.Married my lobster in July 2011
TTC # 2 since Oct 2011 - good things come to those who wait
