Huge Congrats to Snowyz :j Wishing you a happy & healthy PG :D

So cd5 today and I am getting my PMA back. I want another forever baby, I am a good person and I have the right to try for a baby just the same as everyone else. :o;):p:)

DH & I had long talk and have decided that another baby is in our future so that is the plan. :T

That sounds like a plan Tinks. Shall we cycle buddies this month, as two ladies who are far too long after their losses without a BFP? I am calling myself CD3 which is when bleeding got heavier though could be CD5 as it started on Saturday night, and I am determined that if it eludes me this month it will not be down to any lack of effort on my part ;)

So, PMA mustered, my game plan this month is:

    1. Better diet for me and OH. No more takeaways or processed food (the two large bars of chocolate I consumed yesterday clearly don't count as DH was away, I had AF and they were just medicinal!)

    2. Agnus Castus x 3 daily for me, and a pregnacare pre conception multi vitamin with fresh OJ each morning

    3. No more than 1 glass of wine per day, and not more than twice a week.

    4. Am going to continue with CBFM, and OPKs and temping this month, and will SMEP again

    5. Am going to try the zyestra again which was recommended by a newbie last month. The reviews say it is good for helping couples where the male has low motility which applies to us.

    6. Moderate exercise throughout the whole month

    7. Am going to book that smear I have been putting off for next week, well before ovulation can happen

    8. Am going to try to get a reflexology appointment for next week, and see what recommendations the therapist has (have never tried this before, but have heard it can be helpful)

    9. Have swopped our tea and coffee for decaff versions and hope OH doesn't notice!

    10. Am going to aim for at least 8 hours sleep per night and try to keep stress levels down this month (though its half term next week )

SecretDebts - hugs for cd1 hope you find your pma soon.

Saw my gp this morning and as blood tests show I ovulate and dh's SA is good and yet we have been trying for over 2 years without success the gp is going to refer me to the fertility clinic. I have to pick some papers up regarding the referral which she couldn't print out there and then due to their computer crashing. I also have an appointment for a swab test on Monday morning with the nurse which is to test for std's. Had a little cry when I got out of the doctors but after a cup of tea and a chocolate chip cookie I feel a bit better!

Nicki - your plan sounds positive. I have reflexology once a month and find it really relaxes me if nothing else and still believe that it can help with ttc.

Oh and speaking of thinking ahead... I was looking at cots and prams last night :o What's the name of the little ones which look like just a frame with the carry cot kind of perched on top... seem to be favoured by fashionable young fathers round these parts! OH has declared he wants to 'drive that one'. Not that we're going to need to think about that for a while now :(

do you mean like the old fashioned silver cross ones? i saw one of those yesterday, hadnt seen one for years! Or do you mean a more sporty type of one? My DH says he is going to be out running with any future pram as part of his running training :rotfl:

OBEM was dramatic, I cried and upset OH with my crying so lesson learnt, he is banned watching OBEM from now on. He was in a foul mood last night bec of that (why do i get so upset when it's not my baby, etc) and also this morning, I just can't deal with him when he is moody. It made me think whether he is ready for this baby or not, how can men be so grumpy sometimes? FGS, he is 34 going on 35 in 2 months time! Rant over.

Why would he get upset with you crying? If I ever cry at the tv (and I really had to try not to for that episode!) my DH just laughs or smiles at me, he thinks its funny! He just calls me soppy and gets me a tissue.

I would be expecting an apology if he ever did that! Or is there actually something worth him getting upset about that you dont know about? Surely he cant really be grumpy about that?

It's really modern looking, just a little baby carrier on legs really! Will only be good for about 3/4 months then the LO will grow out of it probably but OH wants it anyway but obviously not being parents/knowing many parents we have no idea what they're called! :o

MIL has already declared that when she has our baby to look after she'll be pushing it around in a big old fashioned Silver Cross pram... good luck getting that around the shops! :p
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

Congratulations Snowy, glad we've got another one in :j

*big hugs* to all those who need them, especially tinkwings and nicki, its really hard being so long after a loss without another. i keep telling myself it's not too bad as it's only the past two cycles that we've been properly trying but i still feel so empty inside :o

take good care of yourself bigzippy

Birdie if it's the one i'm thinking of, then you change the top bit as the baby grows but it's something swedishy (they have a cot and other things too) and ridiculously expensive, i think it's like 1k just for the base and carrycot!
ahh this is the one i'm thinking of

i'd still love it though. it even has a seat which is a car seat but can then be lied down, so you don't have to move them when you get out the car but they're not in an upright position all the time! sooooo getting one, husband likes gadgets so i'm sure i can persuade him lol

everytime we go to the trafford centre i want to go look in mamas and papas but we can't look at the cot displays cos seeing empty cots upsets DH. such a total softie but um, not where it matters ;) last night i was told to go upstairs and get undressed so he could, as he put it 'split you like dirty lumber'. so romantic :rotfl:x x
