abis - massive ((hugs)) for spotting. Being disappointed like that is so horrible
Hope you can have a nice day with DH and maybe enjoy a drink this evening to celebrate his birthday?
I was all set to come on here and write a big post last night, replying to everyone's posts etc and then forums were down, and now I've only got time to come and say a quick hello!
((hugs)) to all with AF at the moment - I am still waiting for her to show, have got that 'grumbly tummy' thing that tealover mentioned. There is 0.001% of me with hopes still up that I might be pregnant, but the tests all say otherwise. Just want to get on with the next cycle really!
Looking forward to seeing a bumper lot of BFP's on the 14th0 -
Fingers crossed Cleofish that you've caught the egg!
Hugs Abis2 - don't be too disheartened, try and enjoy your oh birthday in other ways.
CD1 here for me.
So, my PMA list
1) I can have a big curry tonight and feel I deserve it for feeling poo
2) I can go to the snowdome on Sunday as a birthday treat
3) We can book a last minute ski holiday - I'm VERY excited about this one!
4) I'm less likely to be pg for my best friends hen do at the end of march
5) I've got another month to lose a pesky 7lbs that I've put on over xmas and from eating cos of worrying about ttc!
6) I'm less likely to be pg at my best friends wedding in april in my bridesmaids dress
That's all I can think of for now.0 -
CD1 here
Gutted as this was the first month when I actually felt like we were doing things correctly... but obviously that wasn't enough! Funny that a couple of you mention grumby tummies as that's what I've got this morning, never really linked it to AF before but now it's obvious!
I also felt really out of it yesterday and couldn't explain why... now I can
On the plus side my cycle is loads shorter than the last 2, by 12 days so the Agnus Castus must have worked. Started taking it again today in the hope that next cycle I may drop into the 30s
My PMA list:
- I'm going to my friend's house tomorrow night and I can have a drink now without worrying.
- I've booked a night in a nice hotel in Edinburgh next Friday where there's a pool and sauna so since AF had to arrive I'm glad she turned up now so I can enjoy next weekend without worrying about my 'lady problems'.
- We can think about booking a week in the sun in August as I won't be too PG too fly.
- We have another month to save
Hugs for zcrat and abis
Nice to hear from you cleo, was just thinking about you (in a not-at-all-jealous way!) yesterday, hope you're having a fab time and not spending the days stressing about TTC! No idea about the OV thing, maybe you've got a point about the travelling setting you back... or maybe you've OV'd twice?!
Oh and speaking of thinking ahead... I was looking at cots and prams last nightWhat's the name of the little ones which look like just a frame with the carry cot kind of perched on top... seem to be favoured by fashionable young fathers round these parts! OH has declared he wants to 'drive that one'. Not that we're going to need to think about that for a while now

Well I took another test last night and another this morning, and both came up positive. So I think it might actually be right.

Woo -hoo congratulations Snowy! Fantastic news. Wishing you a healthy and happy next few months.
Birdie - I kind of thought the same this month, dtd at the right time, right cycle length etc so me being little miss "quite used to getting my own way" is finding it quite hard that you can do everything right and still not get lucky!0 -
Congratulations Snowy!

Morning ladies
Big congrats Snowy! :j Fingers crossed all goes smoothly for you this time.
Cleofish - just a thought, but I read that OPKs can also detect HCG as it has a very similar structure to LH (only one subunit different), so it may be possible that you're getting an early BFP if your +ve opk on CD8 was a real one? or, as you said, ov was delayed by travel etc and you're having another go now!
Big ((hugs)) zcrat and birdie for CD1, fingers crossed for everyone else it doesn't show
AF is totally gone now after a tiny bit of spotting. Seems to have settled down to 1 day of v light spotting, 4 days of bleeding and 1 more day of spotting, which is shorter than it used to be when I was on the combined pill, even though those were "fake" periods. I used to bleed heavily for 6-7 days, no wonder I kept getting anaemic!
DH is away tonight and I really wanted to DTD last night, so I tried to convince him that it was "necessary" and he said "but it's far too early in your cycle for that, you're only on day 5!" and then went to sleep! :rotfl: pesky husband! I'm pleased that he's taking an interest, but I was really peeved!Little monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -

Hugs for all the CD1s.
Another BFN for this morning, couldn't resist trying it.Think PMT has now firmly set in, I got into work early and it's normally nice and quiet so I can get more done but these two women are chatting inanely about the most boring things. I could just bang their heads together!:mad::mad::rotfl:
