I can definitely feel the witch on her way.... weird sort of grumbly tummy feeling. What's funny is that I know exactly what it is now I'm looking for it, but for all those years I wasn't really thinking about it I don't think I ever noticed it.

Although looking at last month's v long cycle I could still have 14 days to go!! !!!!!!??? a 4ww!!!

Am hoping to get off to the station soon to start the mammoth 3hr trek home... have convinced myself I'm going to get stuck in snow! Am also waiting for a call on how my dad is - he ended up back in hospital yesterday as they thought he might have had another heart attack (had one 5 yrs ago). They don't think it was one now, but they kept him in overnight and I haven't heard if he's gone home yet. Will be so glad to get home and have a hug this evening.

Hugs to everyone suffering from the witch.
Almost getting close to Ovulation and am still resisting the temptation to jump OH every day. This every other day is hard work. Also trying the cough medicine this month too instead of relying on Conceive Plus. I am hoping that my cycle will be the same as last.

My manager's daughter just came in with her 6 month old DD, she's sooo cute! I had a nice long hold and made my broodiness quite obvious!

Saw something on This Morning yesterday (I think?) with a lady who collected those freaky lifelike baby dolls and the psychologist was talking about the 'Cuddle Effect' that babies have on us and god she's so right, there's nothing better than holding a LO!

No AF for me yet and resisted the urge to POAS this morning.

Wanting a +ve test tomorrow with it being DH's birthday. Have now not only got a card for daddy but also a sleepsuit and a bib with I love daddy on them. :o:o

I bought 2 first response tests today as they were on BOGOF. They're meant to test from 6 days early so I figured maybe they might show up +ve seeing as I'll be 6 days late tomorrow!!

I'm confused! TMI coming up -def had blood this morning, couple of very small clots but nothing since. I don't normally spot - or maybe I do & just don't notice as not looking for AF in same way.

So not sure if it's CD1 or not. If it isn't, AF is on her way soon. We'll see what happens over the next few days.

Thought I would have learnt my lesson from last month when I thought I was pg and turned out not to be.


Thought 5 days late was gonna be enough.


I don't want it to be DH's birthday tomorrow anymore. I don't feel like being happy and trying to make him happy.


I wanted to give him his daddy card which I had written out ready to give gim with a BFP test and the little outfit I bought earlier.


Feeling so sad.

hi everyone,
I havent posted in a while and tried to post just now but first of all the mse forumns said they were down and then half way through my post i lost my web page so not sure what happened there! grr!

im still on holiday in florida at the moment and its 7pm here, we have been doing lots in the days and the days do seem to be passing by really quickly however the month just seems to be dragging so much! It seems ages since my last af even though it hasnt been. Plus its really hard to stay away from your guys! Been having a sneaky look before I sleep at night and just want to say congrats to all for the bfps and big hugs for the cd1's. My oh has been good to talk to, but its not the same sometimes as being able to speak to someone who knows where I am coming from. A talk to him about opks needs me to explain the working of the female body!


With me ive been using opks this month and before I went on holiday I think around cd 8 I had what looked like a +ve opk so we dtd for that and a couple of days after and I kept on using the opks just in case as I wasnt completely sure I had a positive as it was so soon, but afterwards I kept on getting obvious -ve ones.


But that is until yesterday (cd 20) where again it was the strongest ive seen it (and what I would call a +ve) so we bd this morning and ill try to fit some more in as well just in case so we can catch it. At the minute our feet are killing because we are walking so much in the day so anything where we havent got to stand will be good!


Im not sure why it seems to have done that though with the opks, whether perhaps I did gear up to ov and then the stress and travelling of holiday made nothing happened and then perhaps I have actually ov now? Very annoying, I didnt start temping this month because there would be too mnay variables with travelling and temps but I think I will start it next month just to get more insight into what is going on and to use the new thermometer I bought!


In terms of cm ive been keeping an eye out but I had lots of cm at the first +ve opk (cd 8) and then it dried up and then now with this +ve (cd20) again ive got cm again so no idea of whats going on down there just hope my bits know what to do when the time is right!


So im going to go with a positive opk for yesterday (wed) as the last option so can anyone help me work this out, when do I start counting with the dpo? Is it today as in 1 dpo or assume ov happens 2 days after a positive opk and count from then?
