    Congratulations borokat! :D

Qq, I've been in family situations like that before. My ex's siblings did naff all when his mum was in hospital or when she died (including not pitching in for the cost of the funeral!) despite them being the older siblings. It was down to me and him to sort things. It can be exhausting, so make sure you have others to turn to when you need/want them

Birdie, I've not slept yet :( hoping I'll manage a couple of hours soon. Feel like complete dog iron today though, and the cold that's been looming for a week has materialised and turned into a stinker *cough sneeze cough*

Can't believe I'm on cd12 already and still got af :(

    Morning Ladies,

I had my blood test done this morning, I got there at 7, they open at 7.30 and there were already 14 people in the queue. God knows what time I need to get there to be the first. I cycled there and the hills towards Dulwich killed me, I'm knackered now.

QQ, hope things will get easier with MIL.

Hello all, I am new to this, me and hubby have been TTC since aug, we fell pg but mc at 5 weeks in october. Since then my pds have been weird always on time but spotting for up to a week then V heavy for a few days... I'm so fed up, I have no idea when I'm supposed to be ovulating/trying. The people I have talked to that I know who have had mc's have all said they've fallen pg a month or 2 after thier mc but we're 3 months on and my pds are still not right :(

    Welcome!

I had a MC in Oct too, had my period in Nov and Dec but got the current one after 45 days. Who knows what is happening. I know I ovulated in Nov as the smiley faces came up but used internet cheapie sticks in Dec and I didn't get a positive. I am going to use the CBFM this month to see what is happening.

Those of you who use internet cheapie ov sticks, do you test in the morning or afternoon? Do you bring your wee to room temperature? I am just wondering whether I did something wrong in Dec and still have appr. 25 sticks left so might just use them up. Thanks.

I was reading the instructons for my cheapie OPKs and it says to use them in the afternoon, no drink for 2-3 hours before testing, leave it for 20 minutes to get to room temp then read the results after 10 minutes. I was supposed to do my first one last night but completely forgot so going to try it tonight, don't have to worry about OH finding my shotglass of wee in the bathroom as he works evenings so I can leave it sitting around! ;)

Hope you get some rest today BZ, no sleep is no good!

    Massive congratulations borokat!!

I think I need to start temping, or something. Atm I'm basically guessing when I ov. and I'm clearly not getting it right. I'm trying to tell based on cm but there doesn't seem to be any at all - that can't be a good sign??

As a beginner, what do people recommend to start with? Would I be better going for ov. tests or temping?

ETA: have just read that I'd need to not drink for a few hours so it looks like that's out. I can't go more than about 10 mins without a drink, I'm always really thirsty.

    morning ladies :)

Big congrats Borokat! Happy and healthy 9 months to you.

Still feeling pretty grotty, raging temperature this morning :( don't think I'll be able to accurately pinpoint ov this month with my temps being all screwy and having to drink so many fluids :o think it will be the next couple of days though. we did manage to BD last night, and will try for the next 2 nights as well

Tealover - temp will show when you ov after you ov whereas opks and cbfm will show when you are about to ov. I like the cbfm as it shows highs and peaks to ensure I bd at right times.

Borokat - congrats on your BFP :j

Just got back from fertility clinic having dropped dh's sample off for SA. It was all high pressure as only have an hour to get it to the clinic and the clinic is about 40mins away. I had sample stored down my cleavage and DH drove as fast as he could and we made it with 10 mins to spare. Receptionist said results can take between 7 and 14 days to get back to gp. Just keeping fingers crossed that result is ok.

I know that shouldn't be funny but it really made me laugh! :rotfl:

Hope the results are good x.
