    Hi all

Not been on for a while, so congrats to thoses with BFP and extra big hugs to those that need them.

My dates say i'm OV from today, so i've told OH to make sure he is home early as we will be BDing for the rest of the week, dont think hes too impressed :D

Fingers crossed it happens this month. Although when i check dates, if i was to get a BFP this month, the due date would be the day before my OH birthday.

COWCHOP I'm the same as you really, i MC in NOV and i've had 2 periods since and nothing :( We got bfp straight away both times previous, so its really upsetting it isnt happening again.

Ooops, I'm really not with TTC this month. I jumped out of bed this morning, went to the loo and had a shower, then remembered I hadn't switched on my CBFM (which is anyway 2 days out because I forgot to reset it) and it was asking for the first stick this morning :o I managed to squeeze a few more drops out onto a stick, which I hope still counts as FMU as I hadn't eat or drunk anything in the meantime, and to my surprise got a high reading.

Today is CD8, and we dtd in the early hours of the morning when DH rolled home from a business dinner, so I hope that covers beginning SMEP. I wasn't sure whether that was technically CD7 or CD8 though! I shall try to remember to test for CBFM each morning from now on, and stick with the program :)

Question: how long after getting EWCM do you usually ovulate?
Like most things, it depends on the person and it differs from cycle to cycle:o
I am being slightly crazed and wondering if I need to wake up DH now and demand his services, or if this evening will be ok?!
I'd say evening would be fine:)
We DTD on Sunday evening... Also, does EWCM usually come before or after a positive OPK?
It is usually before or at the same time as +OPK:)

    Good luck!:j
Make sure you keep on BDing, as you could easily ov earlier/later than you think:cool:

    Lovely, good luck:)

Thanks QQ! My early morning craziness has calmed now, will do an OPK later today and try and seduce DH this evening :)
  • Hi all

Not been around much but have been reading. Seems to be a good PMA on the thread at the moment which is nice to see. The eagle eyed will see I am due to test today, so proud of myself that didn't give in at the weekend. AF normally comes on in the afternoon so if it doesn't I will get a test and see how it goes. Not feeling massively hopeful, no symptoms of anything and not enough BDing I think.

I hope by resisting the urge to test, some of sexymouse's luck will rub off.

Morning all! I tested again this morning - couldn't hold out until Wednesday. As the test was another positive (not as strong as the test line, but unmistakable) and AF has not come...and I am always very very regular, I'm happy to say it's a BFP for me! I can't believe it. Now I feel really nervous in case something goes wrong. Can't decide whether to make first appointment at the doctors yet or to wait another week?

Sorry about what you're going through with your MIL Ikkle, is there no one else who can help you support her if your OH isn't in a good place to do so? Sending hugs :)

How frustrating of your OH's family QQ; on the one hand I can understand that they could be in denial about your MIL and not want to see her looking ill in hospital but it's unfair to expect you to do all of the 'work' (for want of a better word' when there are plenty family members who can support her, could you ask your OH to ring his brother and say how important it is that he shows his Mum that he cares?! I have no doubt that if anything happened to either of my in-laws it'd be up to me and OH to look after them as his brothers are useless. :o

I got an e-mail about the CB trial this morning saying that they don't need me. I'm not too bothered TBH, I wasn't mad on keeping wee in the fridge! ;) Also beng very positive and hopeful that we'd be a waste of their time anyway as I'll have my BFP by the time the trial starts... one can dream! :) Although if we're going to actually get a BFP we'll have to BD, must make an effort tonight! Or maybe at lunchtime, I just don't like the thought of being sat at work feeling... well, you know how you feel post BD! :o

    Fingers crossed Candycane! :)

    How's things today BZ? :)

    ETA: Congratulations Borokat! :j

    Congratulations!

There's no rush with the GP; they don't do much other than refer you to the midwife (who won't see you before 8 weeks anyway). One thing that is useful - you'll complete the form that allows you free prescriptions and dental care. Not that I've used mine - you seem to avoid drugs when you're pregnant. Strange that!
