How long have you been charting/off birth control? I can more than relate to that feeling of "broken" (DH tells me off when I say such things ;)), so I hope you feel more positive soon. :) Although, I've noticed I often get all weepy and emotional/cranky when I'm about to ovulate, so maybe it's a good sign ;)

I've been off the pill since October, so I can't really complain too much as I know it's not been *that* long... but when I think that I've only had 2 periods in that time I get more than a little fed up!

Tealover, don't you say those things about not being a proper woman! Sending hugs and a slap! :p

Hope the smear is OK Gizmodo, I haven't found mine too painful, just a bit uncomfortable. _pale_

Relief and frustration all in one day!!!

QQ, after my mega 76 day cycle please can you change me to CD1 today please!!

Am relieved that AF has finally arrived after 2 months absence and means I can start temping properly and checking my opks etc again.. and at least have some sense of when I might ov next.

At the same time, after my visit to the docs last week, am a bit frustrated. I was almost on the phone this morning to make my follow up appointment to discuss what to do next but stopped myself after realising AF had arrived.

If I went back now they'll just tell me that I was probably stressed or something (I really wasnt as far as I am aware) but i guess now it would probably best to wait for another month to see if I get AF as normal (or a BFP hopefully)!!

I'm still thinking of going back about my weight though, even if it's not in relation to TTC I hope they can give me some advice about this....

    Evening all!

Been off line for a few days - just spent an hour reading 20 pages of posts.

Too much to comment on individually but great news on another BFP.

Have laughed at many of the posts - must admit that I've never gone looking for my cervix :rotfl:

Also watching OBEM at the same time - it's definitely my TTC hour. Does anyone think I could get pregnant by reading/ watching about it.

I've been for my swab at the GP today. Standard check for STDs:o. GP said she was sure that they would be clear (how does she know where I've been? :rotfl:).

Same process as for a smear. You've got to laugh when the GP leaves the room for you to get ready (AKA take off knickers & trousers) and left me with a piece of paper to cover up with.

I'm then laid on the bed with legs spread for her to look at everything I've got! Where did that dignity saving paper go again?

Then told to 'relax' whilst she takes the swab.

Was OK though - just a bit uncomfortable.

Still no date for OH's SA test. GP didn't know how long we would have to wait.

On a positive note, results from day 1 & 21 bloods are in. Apparently I do ovulate - one less thing to worry about.

Good to be back with you all.

Great about the ovulation TTC40. One less thing to fret about as you say.

I need to book a smear too. Was going to do it today but my 12 year old son was off school ill, and I didn't fancy making that call and being interrupted somehow :)

Forgot to add about my very near :o moment today.

I was at my desk & showing a supplier something on my computer screen. To demonstrate something I had to go into my personal hotmail account.

I clicked to open a folder which I thought was empty - but no - I had saved all my e mails from fertility friend in there.

Fortunately he had just looked away to write something down. I would have been mortified! Far more :o than opening my legs for the GP this morning!

    Allo allo!

Watching a pre-recorded show of one born every minute. NEVER fails to make me cry, not sure why I do it to myself. Dingbat!

Had an email from our donor who is out of the country skiing until the end of the month. I'm pretty sure I won't ovulate before then, but half of me wanted to tell him to be careful, not sit on anything cold for too long and keep those swimmers looked after!!

I'm about to read back, super super tired tonight - DW is away this week and I'm doing single mum and worker... ZZZzzzzzz

Hello all, I am new to this, me and hubby have been TTC since aug, we fell pg but mc at 5 weeks in october. Since then my pds have been weird always on time but spotting for up to a week then V heavy for a few days... I'm so fed up, I have no idea when I'm supposed to be ovulating/trying. The people I have talked to that I know who have had mc's have all said they've fallen pg a month or 2 after thier mc but we're 3 months on and my pds are still not right :(

Thanks! Have had one MMC before hence the trying not to think about it. Showed our DS the CB test last night and told him that it meant his life as he knew was about to change. Obviously he didn't understand that but cried when i wouldn't let him play with the stick!

LittleMoog - 5 litres!!!!!?? I'm doing well if I remember to drink anywhere near 2!!!! Hope it clears up soon!

Congrats Nephthys! Can you tell us the inkling from last week. I know secrets loves a bit of symptom spotting... I would never do such a thing. :shhh:

Good to see you again TTC40. I did notice you weren't around. Don't normally say it's a good thing you have AF, but happy if you are, and it's a sign of things getting back to normal.
