Congratulations borokat - have a happy and healthy pregnancy and birth! Look forward to seeing you on the less than 12 weeks thread soon.

Candycane I'm keeping my fingers well and truly crossed for you sweetheart.

Any news from you yet TeamLowe?

No AF as yet so i'm disappointed/slightly excited. i'm also terribly thirsty, cervix remains high and soft (lotiony cm), and i've felt so sick this morning i've had to run to the toilet twice just in case. oh and DH concurs that my (.)(.) are bigger and firmer :rotfl: they're quite sore too but always are around AF.
not that i'm SSing. oooh no.
guna test Thursday cos i'm of work so will have a little while to be disappointed and then go see my friends new baby. and probably have a little cry after that cos this baby was due the day before i was meant to be. he is buddy gorgeous though so i'm looking forward to a cuddle :) x x

Sounds good to me TeamLowe - I was really thirsty all the time just before I got my BFP too, and also had your other symptoms too. Keeping my fingers crossed for you. xx

We've just had an announcement at work that our office is closing. We're all being transferred to another location - it's a 90min drive for me on a good day. Haven't had chance to speak to my manager or HR yet but seems as if it's a choice between an evil commute (which I just couldn't do, or afford) or redundancy. Am really hoping there's a third option!

The move isn't till Dec so I've told OH we have to get pg before then, that way at least I'll be getting paid on mat. leave and then can worry about another job after that!

Fantastic news QQ. Am glad your levels have come back down. Wonder if the first test was wrong, and they were fine after all?

Ikkle, your description of your MIL sounds very distressing for you all. I don't have any experience at all of this kind of thing, though my MIL had breast cancer 15 years ago, it didn't get as bad as you describe. It is very disappointing though that the Macmillan nurse isn't being more helpful in terms of advising on how to keep her strength up if she can barely eat. I naively thought this was exactly the kind of practical advice and support they were supposed to be giving. Even if she isn't a patient there, is there a local hospice where someone might talk to you and give you some advice on feeding and pain control?

Following on from the post someone made at the weekend, I have ordered this miracle spray which is supposed to increase motility and be miles better than preseed or conceive plus, and it arrived today. So will incorporate that into our SMEPing and report back.

So sorry for what you and your OH are going through. Your poor MIL having to go through all this. Big hugs.

    Congratulations Borokat.

Had a day off today as I have horrendous stomach cramps and a aching back. Think I am out for this month as I have pre-AF symptoms but worse than ever. My AF is due on Friday and I have the appointment with the gynaecologist then too. Should be interesting. £100 bet that he says it is my hormones.
