First time is very hard, big hugs to you
Have you seen the great sperm race? It really helped me to understand how much to chance it still is even if you have sex at exactly the right time. It might sound mad but it made me feel like less of a failure or like we'd got it completely wrong x xLittle Lowe born January 2014 at 36+6

No I haven't but I'll look out for it. Thanks. For me, my OH has already had two children, one of which was on a one night stand, so I just find it hard to deal with that its not happening quickly,0

Hello everyone:wave:
I've completely cut carbs out and am planning on drinking loads before the bloodtest in the hopes of diluting the LH result.
Also, I was told to take 1/4 clomid tabs after dinner, but I'm taking it just before I go to bed in the hopes that empty stomach will make clomid stronger (nothing scientific:p Just that I had side effects of being dizzy when I took it on empty stomach few months ago).
Even if it proves futile, at least I've done my best:o
Littlezee, how are you? Glad your MIL is doing well:)
:rotfl: at your DH asking a bloke for mooncup:p
Femara was prescribed by FS, only for CD3-5.
Euronorris, glad you had great parents when you had your mc (((hugs))).
Squ1rrel, glad you will get to see a doctor soon:)
TeamLowe, I've seen that cervix site too:o
Primmer, (((hugs))). Good to know your DH wants a baby so badly:o
Nicki, (((hugs))), hope you ov when your DH is back:o
Gizmodo, (((hugs))) for AF
Sexymouse, glad they did the bloodtest. Hope it comes back that you have the immunity:) I assume they are checking for other things like rubella too?
moneypuddle, you are not out yet until AF shows:o
Remember one only has 30% chance of being pg every cycle if you timed it perfectly:cool:fluffnutter wrote: »But I've had my finger up my fanny a million times and never felt like I'm anywhere near the top!0 -
another quickie - can you use canestan if you think there's even the tiniest chance of being pregnant? I think I have thrush now, just to make things worse0
-
Hi money puddle
Where do you think you are in your cycle? QQ has you at CD17 with no ovulation detected yet. If that's right you should be fine to take Canesten. Even if you did ovulate but didn't notice, and have caught the egg, if it's really only 17 days since the first day of your last AF it would still be fine as the blasto won't have made it as far as your uterus yet, and you would still have no chance of getting a BFP at this point.
If QQ's list is wrong, and you are around CD28, I personally would still use it with a BFN this morning, as it will be horrid to try and deal with AF and Canesten simultaneously, but as always with anything medical you should check with your pharmacist.0 -
Morning all, so much to catch up on feels like ive been away for ages.
Sexymouse- Regarding about the cough mixture, I see you said you took it from cd1, when do you stop it? Is it when you get a first positive on the opk just before ovulation? Or all the way through?
Have never heard of slap cheek syndrome before, cant believe they are letting kids go to school that are contagious though. Hoping the blood test comes back to say your ok and immune.
Maire1- sorry for your loss, hoping that the diabetes can be controlled well enough for you.
Kavics17- sorry to hear things with you are still over the place, how did the docotors appoitnment go today?
QQ- really sorry to hear from what they have said in the FS hoping that your levels come down and they might be able to save this month for you, really have my fingers crossed for you. Be careful though taking the drugs on an empty tummy just in case it makes you have an upset tummy.
Bigzippy- I love your 'oh the drama' smileys it made me smile. Hoping the bleeding gets a bit better for you, my af this month has been the worst I can remember since I started my periods way way back, some of the pain has me doubled over and my hot water bottle has been my best friend!
Also had huge clots as well, not sure if its anything left over from my mc in nov but I did have a d and c so cant see why it would be that or if its anything else, and I also would be lying if I thought perhaps I caught and now its coming out, especially being late with my af as well. Hoping that everything is having a good clean out down below all nice and ready and homly for the next month.
Regarding moon cups, never seen them before, I have heard of them when I was younger and thought eww, but thinking about it now, since my molar and mc I dont like to use tampons, I like to keep an eye on how much blood and clots just in case, using pads is horrible even changing them regularly its like being in a nappy, so I think I might look into the mooncup options to see. Although the quote of it being like a plunger on your insides scares me!
Im another one though that OH wouldnt get a mooncup for me either, I dont think he has ever heard of one before, and :rotfl: at the one in the dishwasher. Do they look obvious what they are for? Or could it hide in the dishwasher without anyone knowing?
Fluffnutter- you made me laugh out loud with your comments, love the bit about the long fanny, thats something to tell people at a party. :rotfl:
Primmer- sorry to hear you have been feeling upset, I feel the same way as you, I dont begrudge anyone having a baby, sure it hurts, but what hurts more is I just want a chance, it feels such a battle with me, first to get pregnant and then a battle just to keep it.
Nicki- sending you hugs as well, look after yourself will be thinking of you.
Moneypuddle- sorry to hear your down, what cd are you on now? perhaps its just too early yet dont give up yet.
anyone got anything planned for the weekend? besides looking for your cervixs :rotfl:Im going to try and gets lots of walks and maybe mabye start ont he running machine, buts thats a bg maybe0 -
hi nicki, yeah qq has my cycle day right. I don't know when I ovulate at all as I never notice any difference when I'm due to and didn't want to get too caught up on opks etc at the minute, so have tried to just be quite natural about it. Have just sent OH to the chemist to get me some cream so hopefully it will be sorted out soon0
