On the months when I was pregnant, or the ones I wasn't?
Per AF symptoms are so similar to early pregnancy ones and can include sickness and nausea. At CD 12 or even the few days following when your sickness started, you would be really unlikely to be pregnant anyway, so sickness couldn't be down to that. The pregnancy hormones aren't triggered by the sperm meeting the egg and fertilising it, but by the blastocyst reaching the uterus and implanting, which takes a minimum of 6 days post fertilisation, and often a bit more.
With my last child, I was sick for the first time about 3 days before AF was due, but in my other pregnancies the nausea didn't start until about 6-8 weeks pregnant which is about normal. I've had nausea and sickness about half a dozen times in the 2ww when I've hoped I was pregnant, but have had BFNs each time. Sorry not to be more encouraging.0 -
Haven't read the last few pages, sorry for not catching up. I'm out, AF just got me. Does at least mean my cycle is back to a very regular 28 days, after I messed it around a bit with the reflexology. Going to take a break from the forum for a while, see if chilling out a bit and not being so focused on TTC might help. We were mega relaxed last time, and got pg straight away. Maybe we need another honeymoon!
Good luck one and all. x:starmod:I'm a SAHM to a smiley snuggly adventurous cheeky bundle of b:male:y b.Oct10. :j
We're a vegan family. We do cloth nappies/wipes, dabble with ECing, use toiletries without parabens/SLS etc, co-sleep, baby-wear, BF, BLW, eco-ball laundry, and we plan to home educate (ideally not at home too much - we want to travel the globe).:starmod:0 -
Another huge clot, almost filling the mcup... Can't be good, can it?"I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0

cleo I took the cough mixture up to the day I got the first peak on the clearblue fertility monitor, so I guess until you get your positive OPK test if you are using these.
zippy I think maybe you should ring NHS direct for some advice - without meaning to worry you, I don't think that much in terms of a clot is normal.
Glad you're feeling a bit better today Nicki.
Hugs for all on CD1 and for those feeling low.
Fingers crossed for anyone in the 2ww or anyone testing.

Bz, if you were me, I would put the clot in a sandwich bag and go down to either A+E or the early pregnancy unit and get checked out.Overdraft = £1000 Emergency fund = £2500

Zippy - in one sense I want to try and reassure you and say that I had massive clots and it was nothing awful (well it was a pretty awful experience but you know what I mean) but I agree with the others. I think the best thing is to go and get checked over. I think the not knowing is understandably going to mess with your mind far too much.0

Despite the not knowing, that amount of blood loss isn't good under any circumstances.Overdraft = £1000 Emergency fund = £2500

BZ I'm going to agree with everyone else, that really sounds like an emergency now. You have been having this for a couple of days right? I use a mooncup and generally fill 1/2 in about 8 hours which I think is pretty standard, so you could maybe double that for a really heavy period, but you sound well beyond that.
Try not to worry too much but getting medical reassurance if nothing else may put your mind at ease0 -
BZ - Please go and seek medical advice honey xxxxxxxIf you can think it........it will happen0

Zippy just to echo what others have said. I think it's time to get yourself some medical attention.
If you still have the clot, the suggestion of taking it with you is a good one.
