    Afternoon all :)
I feel really grotty today, horrible chesty cough, swollen glands etc, my temp was pretty high this morning too. Got some cough medicine last night, made sure it had guafenesin in ;)
Going to start opks later, although neither DH it I would be that up for anything if it was positive.:o

Moneypuddle, I was convinced I was pg last month, especially as af was 2 days later than the previous month :( also, if you're only on cd17 it's waaaay too early for testing. bear in mind it takes about 2 weeks after ov for a test to become positive if you're pg, that's why people refer to the 2 week wait (2ww). It's unlikely that you ov'd at cd3!

Moneypuddle I think you should join fertility friend and record your early morning temperature (when you wake up in the morning and before you move). This will give you an idea about your cycles. I started this month and it is amazing to see what your body is doing. Have a look at mine or anyone else.
On the first page of this forum there is a list of our names and the ones that are have a link attached (blue colour), link to our fertility charts.
If you do not know your cycle it is good for giving you a good idea and you can ask any of us to have a look and give you advice.

How long is your cycle normally? Realistically the average woman can count back around 14 days from her period to her ovulation date. Normally around ovulation you have cramping for around 3 hours in one side of your groin.

:rotfl::rotfl:At your OH! Good that he was even willing to get it though, let alone ask. A lot of guys are too embarassed!
I know, I thought that. Bless him, he's lovely, my DH :D

There's no way my OH would go and get a moon cup for me from a shop, I have got him trained rather well and he will go and get tampons and lady things, and pregnancy kits but only from our chemist. Think he would die of shame, especially as I showed him what they are,as I was on about ordering one some time.
He's fascinated with it now! It's like morbid curiosity. He know he doesn't need/want to know really, but it's like new technology or something and he needs to be able to understand it before he can move on :rotfl: He was asking about it last night, and had like a mock sincere tone, so he was making me laugh. He goes "what? I'm just taking an interest in your v*gina!" :rotfl: I was nearly crying laughing!

Good to hear its getting better for you BZ, must admit I'm tempted to get one for next cycle as I don't like tampons but feel messy in pads, if you get me.
They reckon that the best time to start with trying one is in the last few days of AF, btw :)

    Hope it's a shy BFP though :)

    Hi ladies

Can I just say a huge thank you for all the tea and sympathy over the last few days. I slept quite well last night and feel loads better this morning. And my DS1 was a sweetie and surprised me with a cooked breakfast this morning (he is a very good cook for his age) and DH got home around 11.30 so everything is on the up! DH and DS1 have gone off to the football together now, so it's just me and the little two for the afternoon.

Without in any way wanting to cause offence, can I also give money puddle a little nudge and a smile :). You only started to try to conceive just over 2 weeks ago, sweetie. It would be physically impossible, even if you were both hyper fertile and timed everything perfectly, for you to have a confirmed pregnancy yet! I would put your pregnancy tests away for at least 10 days (and even that means you would be starting to test very early in your cycle) and keep trying to make a baby for the whole of that time in case you ovulate late on your first month off contraception. And definitely don't get stressed and upset yet. The phone lines are still open for you at the moment - the results show won't be on until after the news ;)
  • I have just found this thread I mainly use MSE to enter competitions.
I was TTC for 4 years, and I tried everything! I had a CBFM, used preseed and Clomid but nothing! I was one month away from my first IVF treatment when someone recommended a product called Zestica so I bought two tubes! and that month I fell pregnant! I gave the unused tube to my friend who was also TTC and she fell pregnant two months later.
I now have a healthy 10 month old baby girl called Mollie-Rose so all you ladies TTC give Zestica a try.

How is it different to preseed? Don't like the sound of the conception gel, I already have a healthy vagina :o x x
