Trying for a Baby Part 7

Afternoon,

Another day at work, it's really quiet here. Which I LIKE.

We usually BD 4-5 times a week though not always every second day, sometimes only once a week and the rest happens over the weekend. The problem is that I am so tired by the end of the day, I can't face it! Having said that in December we BD nearly every second day and that was because I woke up early and we did it in the morning. Maybe that's the way forward? Who knows?

As for the weight issue, I am not overweight and never have been so can't really say anything about it. But, my boss is very skinny, and when I say skinny that means that you can see every bone in her body. That's her natural built, she eats tons but has fast metabolism. She has been trying to concieve baby nr 2 but no success yet. She hasn't even had her period back since the first one arrived (age 3.5), she can't put on weight:(.

Hello everyone:wave:

Done the egg retrieval, they found about 6 mature eggs:shocked:
Didn't know one had that many on natural cycles. Anyway they are not going to replace it this cycle, but are going to freeze it if it makes it past 6 or so days. Fingers crossed at least one makes it:o

DH said he wants this to be our last IVF
I haven't replied though, and hope it blows over, but don't think I can change his mind.
There's always au naturale way I suppose:(

On the bright side, I heard IVFs can cure PCOS for a while, similar to ovarian drilling:cool: They got 23 eggs (most were immature), so that's 23 holes on my ovaries (+1 from yesterday):D

claire, they put a needle through the vagina, and suck it out one by one:D
As for the nail varnish, I don't see why since they didn't do general anaesthetic:huh: Perhaps it changes colour if we faint or something:p
TTC40, DH was here until yesterday, but he's gone to his mother's now. I was supposed to go with him but had to do the egg retrieval today:o I'll join him on Saturday.

Time2deal, yay for normal day 21 results!:j That means you are oving fine.
People are generally much heavier after Christmas, me included:p You'll lose your weight quickly. I love your sig:cool:

Elelyn, vivid dreams are pg symptom, but no SSing
People can get pg on one BD, so don't pressure him too much:o

My DH is stick thin, but I think I'm fine at BMI21. I need to lose a spare tyre I acquired during Christmas though:o

QQ - can you put me at 2dpo please. I really hope your ivf is successful, at least they recovered mature eggs which is a good start. As for what your DH said about no more ivf I wouldn't even worry about that for now as fingers crossed you won't need it.

Hi everyone. Hugs to everyone who needs them, this time between Christmas and New Year is such a flat time isn't it? So hard to feel hopeful or occupied.

I can't believe I am 5DPO already, one thing for this time is the days actually go quite quickly - won't be long till i can test. I feel fairly hopeful even though I got my days a bit wrong because I definitely was Oving when we DTD so if it is meant to be then we have done all we can, at least.

If I am not PG then I ned to lose a stone and a half or as much as I can before the next OV! I am ten and a half stone :eek: which is the heaviest I have ever been, barring pregnancies, so I definitely need to get some off.

We are going home from my mum's today - been here six days and we are all still alive lol.

I am going to test on Jan 7, which will be 14DPO, so please QQ add me to the list.

Can I join you? It will be 15DPO for me if I have calculated my OV date correctly. TBH I am really confused about when I OV'd this month - I based it purely on ewcm and big boobs, and as it's only my second cycle after the pill it's not really possible to pinpoint a date... Some of the OV calendars I have used think I OV'd a bit later which would be FAB because then the Christmas Eve BD might have been in the nick of time...

Now, all I need to do is hold out and not test any sooner than 7th Jan....

I am already a teeny bit excited thinking about all the January BFPs we could see on here after operation CC and NYC!

i wish i could base things on big boobs - sadly thats never going to happen for me :rotfl:
