I have the opposite problem. I have been trying to put on weight for the past few months and it just wont happen. So I hope I never need IVF because theyd probably say I didnt weigh enough. Ugh. My DH is worried that if I carry on eating the amount of food and junk I have been recently in a vain effort to put some on, Ill end up having a heart attack at 30 lol. I bought a Zumba dvd off amazon and I want to do some running as I do no exercise and feel very unhealthy about that, but thats hardly going to help.

I also now feel like AF is coming. Got that crampy kinda feeling. Really got no idea whats going on this cycle.

    Hi All,

Sorry I have been lurking for a bit, not much to add. Hope today goes well QQ with the other egg and the current one matures.

I got a + on my OPK so CC/NYC is in full swing.

Lots of hugs to all those with low PMA for various reasons.

On the weight side of things, OH is a size 0 and can't put on weight where as I am completely not and struggle to lose weight. It can't be dependant on what we eat as we both eat the same and have opposite problems. I do try and build him up more with portion sizes too.

I've been away, staying with family so not been on other than to catch up, I don't have what it takes to do much more right now either, but just to pick up on nicki's post... You make some good points, and I appreciate where you're coming from, it's food for thought; however, it does seem to leave a bitter after thought that overweight women are irresponsible to ttc, or that any pregnancy conceived by an overweight woman will end in some kind of tragedy/that any previous tragedies were their "fault".:o I realise that it likely wasn't your intention at all Nicki, :o but I just wanted to balance the gloom with a happier thought that bigger ladies can and do have healthy babies every day -you have a right to feel your disappointment and your frustrations primmer/time2deal/ttc40/whoever, and to vent them here. :) We're not judging, just trying to help-all of us. I hope all you ladies find the solutions to your own individual situations quickly, and manage to implement them as painlessly as possible.:)

eta: btw, this post is IN NO WAY an attack on anyone, in any way;):)

 to all, especially my night time warriors ;) (trust you to pop up again when there's ss ing to do secrets ;))

I take no personal offence at Nicki's comments.

I know that if I eat/ drink less & excercise more, I can lose weight.

What I don't know is that why, as an intelligent person who has control in other aspects of her life, I can't control the weight.

That said, I'm generally healthy. The usual coughs/ colds/ aches but only one day off sick in 5 years. I am far more healthy than many slim people.

We could debate about why people getting treatment for ill health continue to smoke - as far as I am aware we don't refuse treatment.

I have been slimmer in the past - hopefully the TTC will help me achieve the weight loss (and then put it on due to pregnancy).

Hope everyone is having fun on operation CC/ NYC.

Anyone heard from Vesper - or have I missed a post? I thought we were expecting a Christmas test.

Don't think you've missed a post TTC40. I think she last posted just before Christmas saying she was getting AF type cramps and was hoping the witch wouldn't show on Christmas day.

    xx
