My son 11 has just broken his dad's ipod

All hell has broken loose here, 11 year old son, dropped his dad's ipod on the kerb whilst cycling it won't switch on, is broken all down the back and his dad not impressed.

Son in his room, me saying no probs we shall take it to the ipod shop, see what they say, it is fine, everyone keep calm.

Son saving for game coming out in November, offered it to his dad, me say no it was an accident, not deliberate, dad saying I have lost years of my songs and contacts, dad hands in pockets and grunting, son in his room out of the way, for crying out loud it is only an ipod! I suppose if it had been mine and my songs then I would feel as bad as his dad but let's all keep calm and see what the damage is first!

    11 year old son,

dad hands in pockets and grunting,

and dad will be about 12 then judging by his behaviour.

!!!!!! IF it's that precious why did he lend it to the boy in the first place?

Exactly, well the reason was that son went on comp to get something off youtube a while ago and got us a virus, we rang virgin and they got it off remotely took them 12 hours!!!!! then we let him on again a week later and the same %%^&^**( virus so we banned him from the house comp, this one, so he wanted to get some info off youtube and asked his dad if he could borrow his ipod to go on the internet, his dad said yes and this is what happened, clumsy hands:D

Yes I would say he has, so nothing lost apart from the ipod itself is broken and will have to be replaced or fixed costing:D

My lad spilled a pint of beer over my new laptop while I was on holiday - he then tried to dry it off with a hairdryer and melted most of the keys off!! As they say sh*t happens - life's too short to get upset about possessions.
