Spent the first half of the week undereating and then overeating...after startling realisation :o that if I could only find a happy medium between the two, my weight would probably return to something reasonable all by itself, I made a real effort to eat moderately and have lost 2 lbs. V good (!)

Now all I have to do is keep it up.

    Morning all

Just a very quick one, as in the office. nipped into Boots at opening time, lost 1lb so the weekend over-indulence with my son took its toll. Still must be happy with that.

Good luck to all weighing in today.

Well done all for the weight losses.

Suggs - I hope it goes well for you today.

Just back from the pool, swam 32 lengths which is half a mile (or so I am told) and am well pleased with myself.

Feeling very bloated and heavy today, IBS playing up. Won't be weighing in tonight so good luck to rest of you.

  • Hi

Had my first weigh in after joining last week and I have lost exactly 4lbs :j :j :j

I know that on your first week it's mostly water but I'm still :j :j :j

This week may be harder as OH is back at work so I shall have time to myself but I'm determined to put mind over matter.

Hope the rest of you have losses too

    bye for now

Some brilliant weight losses this morning. Well done Victory, Petrichor, EmmaBZ, Plumpie, MissMB, Tallgirl and Loopyloo :T

Suggs, when you've been losing the way you do, 1lb is an excellent weight loss. Slow really is better or your skin won't catch up and you'll be left an old wrinkly :rotfl: You're our star slimmer on this board!!

Ste-ste you're going in the right direction, and drinking extra water will help.
On the quiche front, I would use the same amount of cottage cheese as creme fraiche. If you pick a very low fat one, it'll be free food and you can save the syns for something else. If you don't like c/cheese, don't worry, 'cos you can't taste it in quiche.

Off to the check out some florists now for younger daughter's wedding in June. Have a good afternoon all.

Are you following a specific plan? I think it may be good for you as it's more organised. Make a point of eating 3 square meals every day, cut out anything with more than 4% fat and keep an eye on the sugar content. I hope this will help, but I'd go with a class for a while if you can.

    HI

This is my first weekly weigh in and I have lost 1lb, I'm not actually following a plan, just trying to be 'good' and not nibbling in the evening. I hope to lose some weight before we try for another baby in the summer.

Well done to you all, have a good week.

    Jo

I also lost 1lb! I am really pleased that I lost anything actually though I had been cutting down on lots of things.
But now I seem to be getting a bit naughty again. Only 7lb to go though
