dellybelly wrote:Hi xxxdarlingxxx.... It might be an idea to post on a day's eating to see why you're not losing weight. It might be that you're not eating enough. To be honest, I think that hoping for 3lbs per week weightloss might be a bit ambitious. Why not join us in the 2lb club... there's a link to explain it all in the first post. As for tips to speed up your weightloss, drink loads of water, eat loads of free vegetables and maybe if you're following WW read over your programme again and be brutally honest if you're following it 100% (I'd suggest keeping a food diary for a week).
HTH.
Hi there
Having a fairly typical "diet" day today
Apple for breakfast (a real effort as I hate eating in the morning).
Homemade Carrot, Red Pepper & Tomato soup for lunch with a Muller Lite yogart.
Dinner was a chicken breast in low fat chicken tonight sauce with broccoi & green beans with a M&S count on us choc muffin pud.
munchies is 2 strawberry skinny cow ice lollies
and sometimes an options hot choc at bedtime.
Thats about it. I try to drink 2lts of water but my job involves a fair bit of motorway driving and I always worry about getting held up !
Was was on the Depo injection for a year and still not back to normal so think that might be a problem.
Any advice would be great.xxxdxxx

I'm overweight because of pointless yo-yo dieting when I was younger (i.e. I wasn't actually overweight but I thought I was) I'm now actually overweight (12st and 5'4") and really just trying to re-educate my appetite. Am I still qualified to post here? I'm sure SW, WW etc are good programmes, I just don't think I could stick to them.
Hi Plum Pie You sound very similar to me with the yo-yo dieting over the years and now dieting without adhering to SW or WW, I'm just picking out their recipes that I know I will like and fit them into my own plan.
It's a varied group here but we are all achieving the losses that we want and just by browsing the boards we can't be stuffing our faces.
Lets hope we can all keep up the good workI wish that I could be the oldest AND wisest....sadly it's not the latterbut my time will come _party_ wooooh hoooh! Beware!!!!!!!

Evening all
Well, we're up to 80 members, which is great, and between us we've managed to lose nearly 76 pounds this week, which is very impressive, so well done everyone who's posted their weight loss so far.
Also well done to Kasdriver, who is our Slimmer of the Week with a 6lb loss, and to MissMoneyPenny who has achieved her goal to lose 7lbs this month! :T
As always, if I've missed anyone out, or got any of the numbers wrong do let me know.
Have a good week.

Can't believe it, I've just done an epic post and lost it
Basically it was to say cornflour is 3½ syns per tablespoon not 1½ I'm afraid.
It took me a while to realise how much liquid comes out of the meat and veg in the slow-cooker and none of it evaporates because the lid is sealed. You need much less than in an ordinary casserole. If it happens again Honey a couple of tablespoons of instant mash will thicken it (for free if you're on a green day).
Plumpie of course you're eligible to post here, we have people doing SW, WW, RC and any number of HM plans, you're all welcome! Your daily diet looks fine to me, and if it suits your lifestyle that's perfect.
Well done to Kas and MissMP on your fantastic achievements :T
Off to watch Prison Break. Night-night:wave:I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -

Thanks, but I have only lost 6lb. Not quite there yet.:D Would you mind putting me down as only a 3lb loss towards the 7lb challenge please Lois, - I gained 3lb over Christmas, so don't want to count the loss of that 3lb towards my half stone.
So many new members and so many posts - it's good to see everyone losing weight:T Keep going. Congratulations to Kasdriver on being SOTW:T :T
Lois - thanks for doing the chart for us every week. It stops me cheating over the weekend.
MissMPRENTING? Have you checked to see that your landlord has permission from their mortgage lender to rent the property? If not, you could be thrown out with very little notice.
