Thanks for all the slow cooker advice
Cheekyweegit - your post made me look twice. On reading it quickly I thought you were telling us that you had just had a marathon wee :rotfl: I really am having a lot of blond/senior moments today (no offence to blonds/senior citizens!)
Couple of quick questions - For those of you who are following SW - Do you use all of your syns? I was always told to use them and most days do - often for a cup of options, a biccie to dunk, tomato sauce .... Is this why I am not losing weightI am so downbeat about not losing this week after following the plan so closely and am trying to find out where and why I am going wrong.
Second question to Rachel ( I think) Was it you that had tins of chick pea dhal as a free meal with rice? I tried to get it in Asda yday after seeing it in the SW magazine and they didnt have it ( I looked so closely at the whole tin aisle I think they were starting to think I was up to something lol) I was in Sanisbury's earlier and bought a tin of chick pea dhal, hoping to have it for dinner tonight and luckily have just looked up the syn value - its 18 syns :eek: Good job I looked, DH can have it :rotfl:0 -

Hi honey28 Although I'm not following the SW plan only adapting it at present, I must tell you that the same problem happened to me when I used to go to WW, I found that after a while if I followed the plan my weight loss would cease and that I had to reduce the amount I ate despite what the leader said! Sometimes these plans are for persons who need to lose a considerable amount of weight and that you need to adapt your needs, are you by any chance nearing your goal weight? I know how disheartening this can be and thought I'd just let you have my 2ps worth
Don't let it get you down it all comes right at the endI wish that I could be the oldest AND wisest....sadly it's not the latterbut my time will come _party_ wooooh hoooh! Beware!!!!!!!

Thanks Petrichor! Its good to know I'm not the only one! (love your signature by the way - I love this thread too :heartpuls and really do need to get my daily fix of it). I am quite near goal - to get to my target I need to lose another 6lbs (taking into account the recent gain). Ideally I would like to get another 7lbs on top of that but to be honest its taken me so long to get to where I am, I think it will be the year 2077 by the time I get there :rotfl:0

At WW when you get to within 7lbs of your goal weight they used to give a 'fast finish plan' no doubt our very own consultant31 will be able to advise - isn't she wonderful and how does she manage to put uo with us all??????I wish that I could be the oldest AND wisest....sadly it's not the latterbut my time will come _party_ wooooh hoooh! That will take me to having lost 24lbs, I set that target a while ago but now think I might change it to another 4lbs ontop of that, making it 2 stone lost!0

evening - just a quick post as waiting for dinner to cook
we're having jacket spuds, turkey breast steaks & cheesy leeks - can't wait
ftbworried i know everyone is giving advice on what to cook in the micro/slow cooker but remember you can make good choices at the takeaway too (well not bad ones anyway:rolleyes: )
how about chicken kebab & just eat the chicken & salad
or prawn chop suey / chicken & mushroom from the chinese
or if you like indian how about tandorri chicken or chicken tikka (something without a creamy sauce)
& if pizza is really the only thing that will do the trick them get a thin&crispy seafood one perhaps

and woheyyy me- i lost 1 lb :T - rather chuffed because i thought i hadn't lost anything
had a very good day today.
i DID eat breakfast (cereals)
lunch was lots of rice with little bit of leftover paprika chicken
dinner was creamy broccoli pasta
and only some cake when my friend was around :T
