Hi Soo and you're not butting in, everyone's welcome here.

Scales are often inaccurate - except the ones that are regularly monitored by the Government agencies when someone is selling by weight. BUT if you use the same scales at the same time of day, wearing roughly the same clothes, your overall losses should be recorded fairly accuratelt on scales such as the ones in Boots. Bathroom scales tend to be different every time you step on them depending if you lean one way or the other, lol.
I let my mind wander and it never came back!

Im so gutted - I gained last night 1/2 a pound. Im putting this down to the fact I had a few too many vodkas over the weekend, didn't track (Im on weightwatchers) and I felt really bloated when I went to class.

I am trying to think positively as I had such a good loss last week and I am determined to do well for next week.

Lois Lane - thanks very much for adding me onto the list (although you will have to deduct 1/2 point for my score). my target loss is 14lb now.

    Hi all

Hope we are all doing ok, well done to you all of you for pesisting with the healthy eating.

Long day for me, waiting on a mate to have lunch so us blokes can have a gossip :)

Well done honey, didnt realise you were so near to you goal, it good to hear about the good news, can really give a lift. All the best and keep it up. But dont go and leave me ;)

Tallgirl I get it slighty differently, I carry it well because I big framed and because I play rugby! I guess they are just trying to be polite. Hope the train takes the strain today. Lois hope you enjoy your dancing all frills and posh frocks and thats just your OH :D Welcome you you soolin, I use Boots every week and it seems to be fine. It would be best to stick to one set of scales. Good Luck

Consultant, should get another in a few months, but that would be a more formal appraisal. Monday seemed more like a informal slap :) Thanks Likewise Cheekyweegit, it was my daughters 15th a couple of weeks ago just decided to enjoy myself :) the salad while out dining is quite scary, you never know what sauces or full fat coleslaw will be dropped onto your plate. Always preferred the help yourself buffet style then you can have some control. ftb the roller coaster that is part of lifestyle is part and parcel, it is a case of dusting yourself down acknowledging the little 'mistake' and moving back to day 1, we all make mistake, me more than most :p But I am still going after a year!! Good to see you feeling more confident. all the best.

Right hopefully time for my gossip :)

Thanks for the advice about trying success express consultant - I found a plan which you had emailed me before so I am going to have a look through it and see if I can make sense of it.

Dinner tonight is pasta (free) peppers, onions & whatever else I can find to throw in, tuna (healthy extra B) topped with WW roasted red pepper sauce ( 5 Syns for the whole pot, although I have to share it with DH :(). Sounds yummy and I can't wait until dinner time lol

  • oh dear it's all gone to pot already. I went to see the sound of music last night. Got a w/m blt sandwich from costa and a full fat coke. Then bought a bag of choc eclairs and munched through about ten and had a b/coke in the interval. my friend also bought some of those melts which are now in my fridge calling my name. My daughters been ill so I have not been able to shop so tonight its a kentucky. Maybe tomorrow when I've done some shopping I can get back to grips again.
    HOW MUCH ?
  • Hi All,

then at lunch i had 1/2 white ham roll, 1/4 brown tuna sandwich, 1/4 brown cheese sandwich, spoon of pasta salad & spoon coleslaw, i have no willpower  i did avoid the cakes for pud & had low fat yoghurt instead but still really cross with myself

Well done Suzie - thats great :T

Kerry - Dont worry about the 1/2 gain. As consultant told me last week it could be something you ate/drank before class. It should come off again ;)

Welcome to Juliejim - and good luck at SW tonight - stay with us and let us know how you are getting on - shout if you need any help with anything

Ok, Alyssa and Loopy STAY AWAY FROM THE FRIDGE:rotfl:

Off to have my dinner. OH has come home early so going to have it now then go swimming later.
