Hi all. Well fingers crossed that I will have lost the 600g that I put on last week when I weigh in tomorrow. Had a relatively good week apart from the blip on Thursday and also had a couple of naughties last night but have done alot of exercise at the gym so fingers crossed....
Just come in from the gym now and am able to run comfortably on the treadmill now for 20 minutes without a break so getting back (slowly) to the level of fitness I had a couple of years ago. Also did 20 minutes up hill walk and 20 minutes on the cross trainer.
When I got in I had a big mixed salad with light mozzarella, avocado and a few olives with a low fat balsamic dressing so if I can stay off the choccies this evening I should be ok. May be going to bed early this evening to avoid the munchies!Proud to be dealing with my debts0 -

How much water do you drink a day?
I aim to drink 2 litres a day, but sometimes lapse into bad habits of drinking too much tea.
By the way, I'm going out tomorrow night, so I'll do the 2 pound weight loss club update on Tuesday night.
Have a good week.

My body is mad. I lost 4 over Christmas and I have not lost since 2nd week of January. But I am taking control, snacking on celery and carrots with hummus. I think maybe workload after the holidays has tired me out.
Here is my pledge for this week:
I pledge to eat healthily and walk more. If I loose that would be great, if not such is life.0 -

Hi all!!! Just wanted to say a quick hello (again!!), I pop back into MSE occasionally (now in Australia!), and find reading this particular thread keeps me on the straight and narrow, a bit like reading a slimming magazine, but cheaper & more "real".
It suddenly dawned on me that I have posted on here a many a times, but am still fat! Here are my previous posts:

I really do want to do it this time & lose the godamm weight!! Before I've always put my debt/savings at the top of my priorities/new years resolutions, and have never managed to focus on debt & diet at the same time (it made for a miserable existence!!), but now I have my finances under control, I HAVE to tackle the weight issue!! I am sick and tired of always "meaning to do it"!!!
Thankfully I didnt put on too much weight travelling (you either put it on or lose it I think!!) but wasnt healthy, so my aim now that I am in Sydney and living a normal life of work & 9-5ness, is to be healthy & exercise again.
I've been on a proper diet since Jan 1 - gym 3-5 times a week and eating healthily, and it was frustrating to see the scales staying the same!! But finally, in the last few days they have moved, hoorah, so now I weigh 12st 1 (if I have got the conversion from kg to lb's correct!!) - I am so excited that I am almost below 12st as this has been a mini goal for like forever, so I have to be good for the next few weeks just to get there...
My problem time is my totm (time of the month) when I binge eat my little heart out, usually I never get back on the wagon, but about 10 days ago I had a similiar episode, but after 3 days of eating what I wanted I decided I would get back on track, and I am so pleased I did, but I know I'll have to struggle with the same thing EVERY bl**dy month (its not easy being female is it!!), plus I have an underactive thyroid which I am also blaming for making it harder to lose weight (my sister just looks at lettuce and drops a stone!!)
I really want this SOOOOOOOOOO much, so will keep popping in here as you guys are all great, so supportive & the tips are excellent, good to know you're not alone!!
How often do you all weigh yourselves?
A couple of times a week, not sure why I do it as it sucks when the scales havent moved, but also taken my measurements so will focus on those more.
How much weight do you have to lose?
About a stone/stone and a half would be great, but just to get rid of my love handles/muffin top/whatever you want to call them. Eeewww!!
How much weight have you lost?
4lbs!:rotfl:
How tall are you?
5ft 11
What one food do you think is your dieting saviour?
Rice crackers - feta cheese & herb flavour. Never saw them in the UK, but they are great & just like crisps if you want something savoury!!
How much water do you drink a day?
2-3 litres. Not something I have problems with, although I am always thirsty so am always drinking!
So tonight I am off to Bodypump, then got to interview for a potential new flatmate, then meet a friend for a coffee, so not sure when I'll actually have time to eat - the "Biggest Loser" has started again on tv here which is quite interesting (a bit like Fit Club/Celebrity Fit Club)..
Oh yes, I've definately rambled. Sorry!!! :silenced: Thanks for listening though, I hope you all have a nice evening (or day!!) and I look forward to popping in here again soon, work permitting!!
Here's to losing the weight (finally!!!). (toasting with water, of course!!)

 Well I didn't check in last week as I didn't lose :-( and i was embarrased to come here and tell you
Anyway- this week I have been extra good- I have my kitchen back!!!!! So I have been making healthy meals. Even at my in-laws this weekend I put my foot down and I forwent the roast spuds and gravy- and even the chocolate trifle:eek: :A
i have been feeling thinner all week, I've even started my Nell McAndrew video so I thought I was in for a big loss this week. But....... 1 measly pound!! I'm so disspointed. It just doesn't seem worth it for all the effort I put in. I've not exceeded my 1100 calories one single day and have been doing my exercise. Hubby reckons it's because it is 'that week'. Can woman's week have an affect on your ability to shift weight?
Anyway- its a loss I suppose so I'm one pound nearer my target.
My SIL text me that the bridesmaid dresses have arrived for her wedding- and this has filled me with dread!! I don't have much time!0
