You are trying to book too early - wait for the cheap tickets to be released. Don't believe the guff about 'exactly 12 weeks' - it just doesn't happen in reality. Well once in a blue moon maybe.

What time does your outward flight leave and your inward flight arrive?

Hi we can travel down anytime after 1pm on the 3rd as ataying overnight in a hotel, and flight arrives back at 6 am on the 19th feb :beer: .

It can't be done at the momemt, the cheap advance tickets for the 19th Feb havn't been released, be patient the cheapest I can get it to will be £87 but only when the tickets are available

Manchester Picadilly to Leeds Advance Single£12.90
Leeds to Durham Advance Single £21.50

Total £87.10

The return Advance singles are not out yet, but should be soon and if you do Advance ticket splitting then remember you must travel on the book train and give yourself plenty of time to change trains, 30mins to 1hr for your connection at Leeds just in case the train from Durham or Manchester is late.

Hi can someone please check that i have done this right durham to manchester airport 3 adults 3 children with a family rail card, right here goes
15:27 durham to york = £19.20 single
16:28 york to man picaddily =£ 54.90 open return
17:54 man picaddily to man airport = £9.00 open return
so £83.00 total except for york to durham on return journey

also am i right in thinking that as this train goes straight from durham to man airport, 15:27 calling at all the stations and the correct time as my above post that i can just stay on for the whole journey. or is this not allowed? thanks again everyone

Ok, the only problem is the £9 Manchester Pic to Manchester Airport Ticket you'll find it's a Off Peak day Return and therefore only vaild for that day, you'll need an another return ticket for the 19th.

You can stay on the 15:27 with those tickets but you might have to change seats at York.
