Try this;
Newcastle to Leeds 15th 07:44 (arrives 09:08) £10 advance single ticket
Leeds to Newcastle 15th 18:27 £16.50 advance single ticket
Leeds to Newcastle 19:05 £15 advance single ticket
Leeds to Newcastle 20:45 £13.50 advance single ticket


Advance tickets so buy early :T

Thanks for that very helpful, i prob cant book myticket due to lack of cash until friday, do you think prices will change much between now and then.

Also if i was to get the sleeper that leaves reading about 12.30 (same train as the twickenham train i believe) then do you think price will go down. as technically i am booking the day after and not the same day.

Can anyone help? I'm tearing my hair out trying to work out the split tickets...

I need to travel from London - Newcastle on either 27th pm or 28th Nov returning on 1st Dec at any time...

I cant afford the fares I'm being quoted so any help will be really gratefully received!

Try this I've managed to knock £20 off the National Rail Advance price and £50 off an off peak price, but a change of train at Doncaster required

London Kings Cross to Doncaster 27th 13:10 £15 Advance Single ticket
Doncaster to Newcastle 15:30 £9.50 Advance Single ticket

Newcastle to Doncaster 3rd 09:40 £10 Advance Single ticket
Doncaster to London Kings Cross 13:14 £15 Advance Single ticket

Total: £49.50
Advance tickets so buy early as they might sell out

hiii can anyone help me my friend is in abeerdeen uni so i want to go vist her from either chester or liverpool.however the cheapest national express is 65 return and train is 63 even with a rail card. i would need to go weekend time ie fri- sunday [or thursday night]!!
want to go within the next month can anyone tell me where i could split the trains at? thanks SO much

You could try these;

1. Chester/Liverpool LS to Edinburgh Waverly
Edinburgh Waverley to Aberdeen

2. Chester/Liverpool to Manchester Piccadilly
Manchester Piccadilly to Edinburgh Waverly
Edinburgh Waverley to Aberdeen

3. Chester/Liverpool to Leeds
Leeds to Edinburgh/Aberdeen

But most importantly try and buy Advance tickets and ensure you give yourself time to change trains if required:T

hi guys,

please can anybody out there help me find the cheapest trip from darlington to london (kings cross)

its on the 6th december traveling down at any time and coming back around 7pm

i do normally book well in advance but this is kind of a late minute-ish thing and i hate paying their ott prices

I assumed the following a random date in middle of December and that your railcard was a young persons;

Out
Liverpool to Aberdeen £14.50 Advance single
Rtn
Aberdeen to Liverpool £14.50 Advance Single

Total:£29

Via leeds was £50

If you want more help I just need dates and type of railcard
