i trying to get to exeter cheap as poss on th 18th need to be there for 12 and leave at 2 same day to come back can any1 help

Well its looking like £107 for an Off peak return.. But im going to check splitting at Birmingham on the way down as I can see some £46 singles on the way back so leave it with me.

Tried the splitting at Brum but its the onward to Exeter thats pushing the price up for the times you need.

Sorry - hopefully someone will find something but that £107 is looking best price for me

Split ticketing off peak return tickets at Birmingham Cheltenham and Bristol will probably help. Taunton as well might knock another 20p off.

Off Peak Return is £107.80 and is restriction code 8X:

By any train except those
scheduled to depart before
0500.

If you "split" this journey into a combination of tickets, you may discover that Off Peak Returns for shorter distance are much more restrictive. For example, an Off Peak Return from Liverpool to Birmingham (£32.40) is not valid until 0900, meaning you would need an Anytime for that (£45.60).

to be honest i just need to be there by 1pm and want to leave by 2 or 3 at latest can any one help
i can use the london midland great escape voucher which £10 all day return a cross there network

Thee voucher is only available for off peak services and that wont suit you on the way down - which is whats pushing the price up for you .

I cant really see anything else bar you looking at many splits to see if you can save a few quid.

use the £10 offer to Birmingham then and the return from brum to exter are £34.50 each way.

I think thats the best you can do with out splitting more times
