Bump so the eon reps might look in

I second that.
Would go with SOL 9 if I was convinced Eon would not pull the discount back to 2% after everyone has signed up0 -
Very noticeably NO reaction from EON reps to this apparent glaring anomaly - whats the betting that SOL v9 will quietly disappear shortly?0

SOL v9 is still available at the moment as I've just switched to it.
Who know what EON are/are not going to do but I've printed all the documentation and will be printing this thread so I've got a copy of the EON reps' comments as well. Can't do anymore than that.0 -
I am currently on SOL3, received a letter this morning detailing the increases from 13/09 and have just taken the plunge and switched to SOL9.
With SOL3 I am getting a £20 discount as the village has no mains gas. I can't see this mentioned on SOL9 and hope EoN offers it on all their schemes.
Thanks for the input from those of you who can make sense of the wider maths!0 -
I received my increase letter from M&S Energy, electric and gas rise 11% & 18% respectively. Annual bill £1900+ :eek::eek:
I am in dilema as to whether to brave it and go with Eon SOL9 or EDF fixed saver 2. Eon SOL9 will save me £400 on current spend. SOL9 is cheaper by £1000 vs EDF saver 2 however after reading this thread I am uncertain about the risk. If Eon bump prices at a later date my pocket will be squeezed.
Time is running out as fixed saver will disappear on Monday- any advice is welcome.0 -
Trust E.On?
What has trust got to do with it?
I subscribe to the cartel theory, and expect ALL the suppliers to move UP or DOWN together.
Scenario A - UP
==========
I bet wrong. I should have fixed.
It doesn't matter that E.On puts up SaveOnline 9, it's not going to be more than any other variable rate I can sign up now.
Scenario B - DOWN
============
Why would E.On bother to put SaveOnline 9 up?
SaveOnline 10 will be cheaper, and I simply switch over if they do put SaveOnline 9 up.0 -
Hmm
Currently on SOL 5, the jump in gas prices after 13 Sept is 47% !! Previously 5.051 p/kwh going to 7.381 p/kwh
Sure that figure hasn't been mentioned in their statement :mad:0
