About time if you ask me. Shame you can't see how ludicrous your posts are sometimes (if not all the time).

How can you possibly know if someone has been sanctioned or not? Or are you making huge presumptions? (yep!)

Have an opinion by all means but don't dish it out as a fact because someone might take your word!
if they find out someone has been abroad and not notified them they will take action.

Just wow - 15 pages of arguments about whether the rule is fair or not - whether it is fraud or not etc.

At the end of the day if people are so bothered about the rule - do you really think by arguing on here about it is gonna change anything? - if it bothers you that much - start a peritition to the govenment.

The rule is there - thats it - the law doesnt say - abide by this rule (unless you think its unfair) it says - abide by the rule.

What a waste of 15 pages!

15 pages that had slipped into oblivion until you came along and dragged them back to the top, just to tell us what a waste of time (and I presume, board space) it is!

    Nice one!

I was told I could not claim JSA for a week when I was at Residential School for my Open University course, because it meant I was not available for work if a job came up. The adviser was so harsh about it I wouldn't have dared float the idea of fancying a holiday !!!!

I know you posted this a while ago now, but there actually is provision for this in the jsa guidelines. I had to do 2 residential schools over the summer and they originally told me i'd have to sign off, but i phoned up when i got home and asked to speak to a manager it turns out your allowed to go on 2 courses a year of up to 7 days each (or maybe 10, i forget), and be excused from signing.
