I'm sorry, but I really do think that if you can't live without £65 then no, you shouldn't go away.
they may have managed to find a way to go away but that does not mean they dont need their jsa to pay their usual bills. it is definitely unfair on people who booked and paid for the holiday while they were in employment.

Aren't you long term unemployed though DonnaJunkie? Perhaps it's time to do more than the bare minimum......

I don't think this thread will encourage anybody, as it's clear that by behaving like that, you may as well get used to your £65 a week.
how many times have i said i dont just do the minimum. i said that is all is required of people to stay within the rules. secondly i also said i dont ever go abroad.

why if it doesnt clash with signing on they wont know. you could be walking around handing out cvs or you could be in the pub all day or you could be having a few days away. they are none the wiser whatever you are doing.

If you keep on encouraging people to lie to job centre and (whether you like it or not you are) advocating fraud you will get reported :)

So basically is it ok if someone tells job centre they're really ill, make out they're really ill when they're not, but its ok, they wont know !

Lets hope nobody follows your advice ...

A rule is a rule, yes some may think the rules are stupid and some rules may seem pointless but they are the rules regardless and since they're paying your bills and putting money in your pocket and keeping a roof over your head then the least you can do in return in respect and abide by the rules.
Personally I think you should be able to go abroad, lets face it job seeking can be a job in itself lol but if the rules say you cant then you shouldn't. Just because you know they don't check doesn't mean you should take advantage.

you are quoting an older post that has already been reported. i simply explained how people do things and my view on it. i am not telling them to do it.

If your views encourage people to do wrong or commit fraud then nobody here wants to hear your views ;)

lol, fraud = prosecution. people do not get prosecuted for going on holiday. they get sanctioned for breaking a rule, thats if they get found out which they never do. that is stating a fact not encouraging people to do it. the fact is certain people dont like my opinion so they complain. many people have given me grounds to complain but i mostly resist doing so. i live in the real world you lot live in a fantasy land and have the mods in your pocket. i actually got a pm from a mod last night telling me if people keep complaining about me they will take action against me. no mention about whether the complaints are valid or not.

About time if you ask me. Shame you can't see how ludicrous your posts are sometimes (if not all the time).

How can you possibly know if someone has been sanctioned or not? Or are you making huge presumptions? (yep!)

Have an opinion by all means but don't dish it out as a fact because someone might take your word!
