Lied to Jobseekers

I got to go and see my adviser tomorrow and I can't really lie about going on holiday I've got a tan. And I don't think I could tell any more lies.0

So tell him the truth and face the consequences, it won't be anything criminal, he might give you a lecture or perhaps stop your money for he two weeks but that's it and at least you will sleep a night. He will not call the police!0

Dont worry about it and just look forward to the next holiday your due.
I would have thought 6 weeks at her Madges pleasure. Ps3's pool tables, own tv in cell etc etc.0 -
A lot of posts are actively encouraging fraud on here and that's against site rules (morals aside)!
The best action now, OP, is to see what they say and truthfully answer any questions. If you are sanctioned then so be it, but continuing the deception can only make things worse.0 -
Just what I was going to say, bestpud. I can't believe how many people are advocating the OP tells even more lies and gets even deeper into the mire.
OP, just tell the truth if asked and take your punishment (if any), like a man, learn from the experience and carry on with the rest of your life. You won't go to prison.(AKA HRH_MUngo)

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton0 -
As above.
Come clean and don't get into any more trouble by lying,
(And could other people stop advocating fraud!)0 -
I know I shouldn't have lied but I couldn't afford to sign off and then sign back on as it would have taken a few weeks.
You wouldn't have had to; you're allowed to take hols while on Jobseekers; you just sign a form (someone just behind me in the queue at jobcentre last week did it).
You're best off just being honest whatever they ask truthfully, especially as it sounds like you've told a lot of lies, and some conflicting with each other.Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.- Mark TwainArguing with idiots is like playing chess with a pigeon: no matter how good you are at chess, its just going to knock over the pieces and strut around like its victorious.0 -

How is it advocating fraud if you are allowed to go on holiday for a maximum two weeks with no penalty? Where does fraud come in to it?0
