Weighed myself this morning after 4 days of exercise and eating really healthy (grilled fish, chicken breast, salads, brown bread). Walked 4 hours in all, probably burning around 300-400kcals each time. Didn't touch carbs after 5pm, didn't eat a single piece of chocolate
, didn't drink wine either. Drank lots of water though, with 5 small meals a day and one protein shake at night. Lost 3lbs!!!. I've weighed myself both times on an empty stomach first thing in the morning after errrm, doing my toilet business
. Don't think it is water loss as I kept myself hydrated, but I feel so much better and more motivated!!!!! x

Hi Elly, I don't know if others would agree, but for me I try not to think of it as a 'diet', so I would not set a diet start day.
For many years I dieted, 'cheated' and told myself I would 'start again tomorrow'. I lost weight and put it back on again and again. I am now hoping to make a few simple changes to my diet and maintain them, but also not 'beat myself up' when I give in to temptation.
I think what you said is very true - if you buy it you eat it. I now try to plan ahead a bit more and not have anything in the house to tempt me.
Look on the positive side, you have increased your excercise and on work days you are eating more healthily until you get home. Give yourself credit for what you are doing - and don't give up.

69.3 kg today. That's - 0.5 kg from a week ago.
That's one pound one ounce and about half an ounce.
That means I now weigh approx 10 3/4 stones.
I've actually lost 3 kg since I started on the Dukan Diet at the end of October. It is actually working for me. Slooooowly, but it's working, and I'm pleased.

Hey all,
Weighing day again, oh how the days wizz by. Tonight I am removing all that remains of the old kitchen and tiling starts tomorrow, means we live on takeaway for 2 daysthat does not sound good.... Saturday I start to bring in the new units and hopefully get the sink and the cooker up and running ASAP.
FS 3lb Loss for me, couple of days this week daily calorie intake under 1200, I find sometimes when I eat late I go beyond hungry, no chance of that next week.
Have a nice day all

1lb loss for me this week. Just cant seem to lose any weight at the moment without putting it back on. If i have 2 good food and exercise day, the next 2 are rubbish. Need to remotivate myself i think.
Well done to everyone this week.PAD Maker0 -
Lots of birthdays at the mo! Happy Birthday BB, :bdaycake: Jess :bdaycake: and Victory! :bdaycake: (Is cake appropriate on a diet thread? Hmmm, lol).
Well I missed weigh in today! Was DS1's first day back at school so was quite hectic this morning. No point in weighing in now so will declare an STS which I was when I weighed in on Mon - doubt much has changed since then!
Not much done on the exercise front. I've been out and about doing lots of things, but nothing that I can really count. Looking forward to having a bit more time to myself now DS1 is back at school, so may be able to get a bit more done in the day, and have some free time at night to exercise. Lately I've been non stop until 9-10pm, and by the time I've done everything I just can't be bothered, so hoping that will change.0
