    Hey Everyone,

Well the last couple of days have mostly been spent on my bum, working. I've tried to get on the bike a bit though, and have managed 55 mins. I've noticed that my siggy time and chart time don't match, so will have to check back on my previous posts at some point - the chart time is probably right, and I probably just can't add up properly as I usually post late at night when my brain has already 'switched off' :p.

I'm thinking about going back to a low carb diet soon as I've been starting to get stomach cramps again. I had them for ages (prob 2 years ) before, but don't like going to the docs so don't really know why - maybe IBS, or a wheat or gluten intolerance??? I've started lowering the carbs over the last few days and will probably commit fully after my hols (week after next). Kinda looking forward to it as I love the low carb way of eating, although will really miss being able to eat 'anything, in moderation'.

Oh, and I ordered a tub of protein shake (Whey Better) last week - it came today :T I ordered that one as it was sold on a website that I order from quite often, and I didn't really have time to browse around (there are waaayyyy too many different kinds!). It is 87% protein and 108 cals per 30g serving - is that good? It seemed to be the best one available on the site. Tried it today and OMG is it filling (delicious too)! Will serve me well when I go back to low carb!
Thinking about taking it on holiday with me as it will probably help get me through the long, active days without needing to fill up on carp, which tends to be the only thing available at the seaside - until Victory opens her healthy eating shop, that is! :D

FS 30 mins and a PB of 27.44 for the 5K

not so easy with this cold at 4/10 and possibly still a bit sick from the steroid

    Thats really impressive.:T
I do what I think is 5K on my treadmill (it's 5.ooo something?) and it takes me about an hour, around 400 cals going around 5.8 speed. Am I just really slow?

5k is 3.11 miles, is your treadmill in kph or mph?

Thank you so much for that link, it was incredibly helpful. If I've worked it out right the distance is in miles.

Try upping the speed each time you go on it. A little bit each time. The 5.8 speed should ideally be for your warm-up and cool-down ;)
