We've just been down the sea-front again. People don't believe me when I say it, but after a while you really DO NOT WANT all that cr*p. There is nothing wrong with fresh fish, it is what is done with it and what accompanies it that I just do not want. Especially when I see the size and shape of some of the people down there, it reinforces what I believe to be true.

Everytime I go out for the day, to the seaside or a theme park, wherever I always say to myself one day I am going to set up a healthy eating take away along the seafront as we never seem to be able to get anything healthy on the days out, there is burger places, fish and chips, kebabs dotted all along the front but where are the eat as much as you like healthy snacks bars :D

2LB Gain This week for me Fred :(

I knew the 2 weeks of no exercise and eating for england would castch up with me and bite me on the Bum, hips and belly
Funny I could tell by the way my trousers felt that I knew I had gained this week. This is a good thing as it means I can't react quickly and not go back too far.

    Happy Birthday Margaret Clare

Eric - how is the cold ? You need to be careful with that rotator cuff. Have you seen a physio? they have some great exercises to help..... well they did after I tore mine ;)

Jess - I agree 8 weeks is a long time and you don't want to buy something that is going to be too big in that time. Unless you know someone who is good at alterations ?

Trigirl - Well done on your time last weekend. Also good luck with the race this weekend

I think I am going to wait until September before starting Insanity as have a lot of visitors over the next few weeks so can't really exercise with guest's around.
Been out with running club tonight and managed 58 mins mainly uphill which almost killed me but I did not give in and walk :j

    happy birthday MargaretClare! _party_ :bdaycake:_party_

Well I am really tired and achey now, I have hardly sat down today. I've got a new fridge freezer coming tomorrow so I spent over an hour hacking away at the frost in the 'big freezer' so I could move the food over from the other one, I then hauled the fridge freezer out so I could clean it all ready for removal tomorrow - oh dear, what a mess! It's not been moved in years, so it wasn't a pretty sight, lol.

I've spent 2 hours in total scrubbing and mopping, in and around the fridge, plus most of the rooms in the house (the only carpetted rooms are the hallway and bedrooms). I then went out and did a bit more gardening (unfortunately I have 3 gardens - front, back, and side :( so have to spend a lot more time than I'd like out there). Spent the rest of the day washing clothes and generally tidying the house.

I'm adding 2 hrs 35 to the challenge, that is the scrubbing, mopping, and gardening.

Oh, and I gained 1 lb this week :( Not too surprised, so can't complain. Will start afresh tomorrow.... again!

Me too. Do all shops stock it?

I think most places will, I bought some in Tesco today.
You've gotta try it! It really is delicious.... maybe even too delicious! I bought a big 500g tub and ended up eating almost half of it :o

DD2 wedding is in Oct - have been putting off buying my outfit in the hope of losing weight. Can't leave it any longer so off to the shops today.
Still 8 weeks to go, so potentially could lose another stone. Not sure whether to risk buying something a bit tight or play it safe and buy something that fits now, but could be a bit big on the day.

I'm a bit late in replying so you may have bought one already? I would definitely agree with Martyoskha though - buy a tight one as there is plenty of time to fit into it.
