torn rotor cuff, which keeps reinjuring, doc thinks there may be some nerve issue by the spine as well

Hope it feels better soon Eric. Its so frustrating when our bodies don't let us get on with the job of getting fit.

Well, think I might have to start buying smaller clothes :j have spent all day hitching my trousers up.

Today is the first day I have actually managed to stay below 100g carbs - surprised that I don't feel hungry.

30 min cycling and 1 hour aquafit for me today, so total of 1:30 hr Fred.

    Thanks, Jess

    Hey Everyone,

Hmmm, I'm really considering trying this Total full fat yogurt now as everyone seems to adore it! I think I tried the 0% fat one a year or so ago but found it more like fromage frais than yogurt (which I'm not too keen on), is the full fat one similar to the 0% one?

Had a lovely day today. :D We went to Eureka in Halifax, I went there when they first opened when I was little and they still have some of the original exhibits, so it was lovely to see them again, and see DS1 just excited about them as I was back then!

Driving through Sheffield (at rush hour too!) was a nightmare, I hate driving through big cities anyway, but DS1 was moaning about being hungry, DS2 was whinging as he was tired, and there are so many fast food places that I was very tempted to stop at one just so I could have a break! Somehow I managed to resist and wait until we got home to eat. :A :)

Not done great today, although not too badly either. I did have an ice cream this afternoon, although we were walking around for over 5 hours so I don't feel too guilty about it! Not to hopeful about weigh in tomorrow as I've not been particluarly strict with myself this week. :o

Good luck for weigh-in everyone :), and congratulations to everyone who has already posted losses :T

No the full fat stuff is thick and creamy and delicious with some fresh fruit and honey. The 0% stuff has a funny texture, IMO.

STS fs although i have dropped 0.4% of fat

i wonder if this steroid injection will affect my weight
  • Eric hope you mend quickly, it totally blows being injured. I remember being so frustrated throughout the whole of my pregnancy because I couldn't train properly, ended up ging into labour after a spin class!

Anyhow, through many many many injuries over the years my advice is to rest it as much as you can until it is better then go steady. Must be so annoying as you are obviously fit as a fiddle and probably worried about losing fitness but you muscles have a level of memory and no will come around again after a little coaxing, good luck get well soon.

Can I log 45 mins from last night please, just on the turbo.

Decided to race on Sunday, just going to do the swim and bike of a triathlon as my hip is quite injured at the moment and don't want to mess it.

Oh and total loss since last weight is 1.5lb and have been 10st 8.5lb for 3 days now.
