Thanks Matryoshka, I have tried that but the blue light goes out and when I press it again, it starts flashing again.
Which blue light? And what message do you get on the screen when you try and use the board?0 -
Ooh, I forgot to say welcome to the thread Stardance! :j
Are you on a specific diet at the mo, or just trying to make healthier food choices?0 -
Hey all
Just adding 30 mins of walking to the challenge today.
Havent eaten well this weekend due to staying at my mums, we went to a fair/festival today organised by the local council that we go to every year and i managed not to buy anything from the hundreds of burger vans, food counters etc, but we did go to my sisters after, she is trying to set up a cupcake business, so had alot of cakes lying around for me and my mum to taste test. i had 2, i think. Also my mum told me(even though its meant to be a surprise) that my sister is going to try and make me a birthday cake for my birthday on thursday. probably the only thing i didnt really want this year. Hoping everyone else will eat it so i dont have to.
Hope everyone has had a better weekend than me, and hope you get well soon ericPAD Maker0 -

You can't NOT have cake on your birthday  A little piece won't hurt. Go onSECRET TO WINNING PRIZES:

Hi,
I joined last week but haven't posted since, mostly because I started a new job and spent the week confused and tired! I have logged in most nights because I feels inspired by reading the posts of others
So far I have found the new job positive, in that I have found it relatively easy to continue the healthy eating under pressure but unfortunately my exercise has reduced considerably
I'm hoping things will settle down this week and I'll be able to do a bit more.
I'm thinking I might move from WW old system to simply calorie counting. WW has helped in terms of teaching me a lot about portion control and snacking but I don't think I want to calculate points for the rest of my life! What do you think? Any other ideas? This is a life long change for me so has to be simple to follow.
Lastly, Trigirl, what an amazing achievement - well done!0 -
Well done Trigirl :beer:Give it a go. You don't need to keep up with them. God knows I still can't complete a programme completely without stopping to catch my breath :rotfl:
Thanks Matryoshka, I will give it a go. Can you let me know how to download a copy?I registered on Foodfocus and according to them I need to eat less than 1500 calories to keep losing weight at the same rate :eek::eek:
It does seem to suggest really low calorie intake to some people. If you are losing 2 - 3 lb on 2000 cals I would stick to that. You don't want to reduce cals so much that your body goes into 'starvation mode'.
No excercise for me today. Went to see Harry Potter and then gave in to temptation and had a McDonalds  Oh well, tomorrow is another day.

I 'bonked' awfully at mile 40 and have been sick all the way home but managed to hang on for dear life to take the bronze medal and a goody bag of high cal mega carb nutrition :rotfl:
Thanks for all the positive vibes, need to work on what I eat when racing as it went badly wrong in that respect today, 2000 cals burned though. Out of 10 I will give me a 7!!!!!

I have been craving carbs big time, felt very tired and sick after race. Ate pasta followed by 2 rounds of toast ooops!
endurance events are not something we would do naturally, you need to eat carbs for endurance racing pre and post and probably during0 -
I meant to log 50 mins yesterday FS
I had to stop as my thighs locked up, been going to sleep at 8pm and sleeping through which is unlike me, sore throat 3/10, cold 3/10
