Being married don't feel much different to be honest, but only because we have been together for so long already seemed like we were married!

Because we got together so young, we kinda never grew up! Back when we were 14 we spent our days riding bikes, buying sweets and watching films, and that's all we do today! My mum says we are like two kids playing house!

As much as I believe that age don't matter I do think that 17 & 16 is a bit too young. Even if you think you have found the one person you want to be with for the rest of you life, no one will take you seriously! Me and Luke probably knew at 17 that we were in it for the long run, but we held off on getting married because we knew people would think that we were stupid chavs, or that I was pregnant! haha!

When I was look at wedding venues with my mum everyone thought it was her getting married, not me! I felt that I had to keep explaining that my fiance and I had been together since we were 14 and already had a mortgage together so they didn't judge us!

I also think you MUST live together before getting married!

Well my husband and I are strong atheists. My husband was bought up in a christian home (wasted childhood), but was intelligent to escape as soon as he could. I could be here all night debating with you how corrupt religion is but all I will say is if your bf loved you enough he wouldn't care what his mother (or some old book) says about living together before marriage.

Marriage is about two people. I pity those who spend their wedding day declaring their love and making promises to some apparent 'god' rather than their husband or wife.

when you are a fully fledged adult - not the sort of inbetween stage where parents can still tell you what to do :)-you can make your own decisions. Only then will you really be able to make decisions fairly that impact on someone else.

I remember thinking my boyfriend I had at 16 was 'the love of my life' ..'the one' etc, until he dumped me :p then i was heartbroken and hysterical. But you move on and meet other people. In the end i met my current partner at 19 and 12 years later we are still together and have one child. Not married though ;-) never was a big deal to either of us, and hell yes we have lived together for 10 years now. No way on Earth would i ever have married a guy without living with him!!
In fact I have just plain never married a guy and not sure if i ever will, guess all those religious people would shoot me down in flames for living with someone before being married and having a child out of wedlock! But it works just fine for us
