Even when I had a landline I left it unplugged the most of the time.

I get more on my mobile than I do on the landline.

Just as an addition to the person who comments "they are just doing a job".

A few years back (before TPS) I was expecting a call to say my Brother had died. (He was on his last few hours.)
The phone goes, and my heart sinks. Answer the phone, and it's Staybright Windows. They had two branches locally, and I used to get regular calls from both.) Anyway, as you can imagine, I answered the call quite tersely.
Just after that, the phone goes again, and my heart sinks again, but hey, and it's the girl at Staybright complaining about my telephone manner.
So there am I, awaiting a call to say my Brother had died, and having to deal with Staybright,... phone their office, and complain about this girl, and ordering them not to ever call my number again.

So, 'just doing their job' was what the Natzi's said, and I hope all these telephone callers all end on the dole, or get a proper job.
They just don't give a damn what's happening in our homes, just as long as they can get some money out of you.
I will call THEM, if I am interested in their products, and at a time that suits ME.
Damn their eyes is what I say.

You realy do want to keep this thread going don't you Crazy ;)

Why is it that you can't give any facts whatsoever about this ....oh yes I remember it didn't happen.

You might be capable at taking in the more gullable on some of your posts but sadly the ones you need to convince don't believe you for one minute ;)

Package it how you like Crazy but there is not one shred of evidence that it happened nor will there be untill you start giving facts instead of your imagination !

    Birkee,

That why I called them vermin as they have little respect when calling anyone, I agree 100% that they should be rendered unemployed.

I am the same if I want something I would hardly sit there and await a call from some Company.

just for you Silk, I will go back on my agreement made with said Company to prove you wrong, as I said to Jamespir, you pay up the money I have to give back and I will gladly show you the full details including the letter and a copy of the actual cheque.

You make the payment to a charity of my choice from my area and once I confirm they have the money I will then post the full details, deal ?

Put up or shut up !

It's not wrong, as I have knowledge of this method being used.
Not all participants are prepared to pay for compiled lists from other sources.
    and,
it is only one of many methods, not the ONLY method which they use.
Seriously? I would be interested to know more please. As far as I knew I was ex directory so there was nowhere with my number, name and address. So does BT sell on all my details despite me being ex directory?
