Update on Barclays complaint....
Rang on Dec 5th - was phoned back on Dec 6th and a letter was sent informing me of my settlement figure. Sent back acceptance letter which they have received as I checked yesterday. Had to force the advisor to let me know when I would be paid - they gave me the 28 working days chesnut! I'm thinking that if I keep ringing it may come earlier - and for those of you wondering why I am possibly being impatient - my original date of my complaint goes back to November 2010!!!! I think I may have a case for a speedier payout, but the rules are that there ain't no rules, when it comes to getting your money back!!!! I have only rung them twice since November 2010, once in July 2011 and December 5th 2011!0 -
Finally, we have received our money from Barclays - over the moon does not cover how we are feeling.
For those still waiting for their money all I can say is keep badgering them, that's what we did in the end and it paid off.
