Try not to let it spoil the trip. If it is lots of fun maybe he will change his mind. We went away for two days and stayed a week as it was so good.

just read that you dont drive, he might not really want the massive drive home after two weeks then straight back to work if you know what i mean, for some people driving really tires them out maybe your OH feels like this??

Perhaps you could try and talk to him again and maybe compromise on like say 1 full week camping then come home and relax

Perhaps a little spice in the bedroom department would make things a bit fresher?

i dont drive either but that does sound crazy to want to do it all in like the space of 3 days... but we all know what men are like ( i mean once they have something in their heads its there way or no way) in my experience anyways

I'm not sure if I've missed something. Was the plan always three days, or has he cut it to that only now?

The number of days for a trip tends to be something you'd agree on early on in planning a holiday!

Maybe tod's onto something here? Could he have an aversion to, ahem, relations in the open air? Or with your child under the same tent? Maybe 3 days is the longest he can manage without any attention?
