Las Vegas 2007 bargain hunt + tips

Just been looking at Mystere tickets online and it lists thursday and friday as dark days, and the 11th of July as an additional dark day. What is a dark day, is it simply a day they don't do a performance?:o
Be sure to first check through the ticketmaster link posted last week - $50 tickets may still be available for your dates though some reports indicate that on some dates all the $50 tickets are sold out.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
Last question for a while I promise. I've heard coupons being mentioned on this thread of various types, is there anywhere good to get any? I had a look at the ones on lasvegasadvisor but they cost $37 and as I'm off in 2 days they aren't really practical. Any ideas folks? MTIA.
First and foremost pick up every free magazine you see. good places to find them are Taxis , Hotel lobbies near check in, and Monorail stations. they will have coupons in for lots of different things like shows , admisssion to attractions, discounts at buffets ect , helicopter tours and plenty more.
this fat wallet thread should cover everything else...just be careful about posting on it as it is not like this thread.

Yeah I've been looking at that. However the TI website for mystere says they give a 50% military discount, but you can only book at the box office or calling. The 50% discount would only apply to me mind, so it's probably better value to go for the ticketmaster option.{Signature removed by Forum Team}0 -

you never know it might be for the group booking. it only costs 1p a min to find out. i use this very simple service from the MSE International call checker when i call overseas

I removed link as it wasnt working...have put where i found it tho
Thats the link to the PH deal ..found on fatwallet forum page 1...but some dates no longer available.
As for the coupons I use The american casion guide book about $16 available in station casion gift shops..
I also use The lasvegasadvisor pocket book which IMO is better as more on strip propertys in there ...between the 2, I got 2 for 1 on every buffet I had in a 2 week hol earlier this year.
You can sign up onlineto the LVA for the $37 as you stated and choose to pick up the book from their office ..(a couple of blocks from the strip)..If you choose that option and want the ACG they sell that to.0 -

Balls, I forgot to check the fat wallet links, still I guess I should be happy with what I got, being as it's all last minute. There is so much to check, next time I intend to be much more organised.
I think I'll sign up online and colect the book in person, I didn't know you could do that, cheers for all your help mate.{Signature removed by Forum Team}0 -
