agree with that. IP over Circus Circus anyday given location . you might also consider the Excalibur as well with this promo from $46pn. your dates have plenty of nights available at that price.

With all your help i have managed to find some cheap hotels for the boys:

    £108 Circus Circus
    £137 Imperal Palace
    £139 Excalibur

These prices are for 2 for 4 nights (17th to 21st November).

We have been before and stayed at the MGM and Strats, but this time the other half is going with one of his mates on a lads trip, so cheap is the only option!!

Again many thanks for all your help, really appreciate it!

    :T

i would still go for the IMPERIAL PALACE though as i bet you could spend the extra £30 it costs extra , quite easily in Taxi's and Deuce rides to and from the Main strip from Circus Circus. and they will want to escape Circus Circus i,m sure

Deuce pass for the day =$5 x 2 people x 4 days = $40 =£20 ...........................so only £9 to save and your there

also as it lads only you should also consider HOOTERS !!!. www.travelworm.com have nights from $49 !!!!!!!! on your dates ....although we generally don,t recommend 3rd party bookings , your unlikey to shave much off that sort of price , and it is only 4 nights. plus it comes with a load of 2 for 1 coupons and $10 match play extras thrown in

  • Hi there,

I spoke to you all about 40 pages ago and my position has changed! I am going to get married in Vegas in June of next year, but I have just had a brainwave and decided that would like to go to Vegas for our annual holiday in September so we can scout everything out before we go over for real in June 08!

I was wondering if I could use your fantastic flight seeking talents to see the cheapest flight you can find me......

I have had a quick look this morning and on or around 10th September coming back on around the 17th (we have two weeks off so can go later than this if it is cheaper...) I can find a flight from Manchester with 1 stop for about £350/£380....

Can anyone find me anything cheaper?

I have got the Las Vegas Promotions website for the hotel so thank you can sort that out, just the flight bit scares me!!!!!!

    Thank youuuuuuuuuuuuuu

well that sounds like a great idea to scout before the wedding! as for flights, check www.flybmi.com - you can get flights from Manchester - out on 11.09.07 (via Chicago) and back on 18.09.07 (direct) for £386.80...not cheaper, but no connection on the way back...something to consider, at least as you will find that the flight home from Vegas you'll just want to sleep and not having to change planes will be a welcome thing. :)

Ferf you are so right, further to this it seems the cheapest flight I can get is £380 so for that teeny bit more to fly direct would be a god send... going to look at the site again.....

Thanks, will let you know how I get on!

*Boooo just checked it says £411 now.....

still would be so good to fly direct on the way home if i could!

    Thank you

you have to swoop fast with BMI if you see a fare you like.

as i found out when my flight jumped up over £150 each from when i booked it(phew) and the next time i checked .

for safe advanced bookings ...£300-£350 direct is about the level you should be looking at unless you are prepared to chance a late booking

try the Money and Miles trick with Virgin out of Gatwick as described in post #500. have generally been throwing up prices in the £350 range. unlike all the others Virgin fly everyday so try a mid week flight to cut the cost futher

otherwise it will be a case of holding your nerves for a good late deal with My Travel/aka Airtours,or constant checking of the BMI and Virgin sites. download the Virgin fare alert software from it's site while your at it
flight dates of the 5th, 9th ,12th and 16th in mid sept with My travel. try calling airtours direct if you cannot get the number of nights you reqiure

Not sure if this would interest anyone, but just in case!

1/2 price tickets to Hans Klok in "The Beauty of Magic." with special guest, Pamela Anderson. Dates through 01.09.07

    Additional show discounts here:

Think most have been posted before - mostly upgrades, some good discounts and bonuses like free slot play.

  • Well we have decided not to go now, after much deliberation we have decided we would like the wedding trip to be the first Vegas trip. You regulars probably wont agree but we dont want to ruin the impact and magic of popping our Vegas cherry, and have decided to keep that for the wedding trip...

So still have 35 return flights for June 08 to book so let me know if anyone sees any good fares!

I am trying to decide upon hotels in Vegas in December but im having so much trouble! We have booked the Bellagio from 23-27th then were planning on getting a suite with a spa tub in either Madalay Bay or the cool tacky suite in IP from 27-30th(complete with mirror on the ceiling!!) buuuut, would we be cheaper in doing it the other way around since the last 3 nights are Fri, Sat and Sun? I would really like to stay in the Venetian but it appears to be far too expensive! We also dont want to stay in MGM or Excalibur because we have already been there.

Ive spent HOURS online looking at prices and hotels and ive totally confused myself now!
Can someone please just TELL me what to do? (and book it for me??) :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Ellabella - that's fair enough...I would never suggest anyone NOT go to Vegas...but I can understand your decision. :)

Personally, I would not do Bellagio->IP for two reasons...firstly, the class of hotels are so dramatically different that unless you go IP then Bellagio, you'll likely be disappointed...and secondly, because the locations are not that different...if I were going to move hotels mid-trip to experience something different, I would go farther away so MB would fit the bill better.

I wouldn't rule Venetian out until later in the year...it seems that they don't offer as many promos as far out as other hotels...so maybe book something you are happy enough with and keep an eye out on Venetian in the fall.
