http://las.vegas.eventguide.com/months/07sep.htmam trying to decide upon hotels in Vegas in December but im having so much trouble! We have booked the Bellagio from 23-27th then were planning on getting a suite with a spa tub in either Madalay Bay or the cool tacky suite in IP from 27-30th(complete with mirror on the ceiling!!) buuuut, would we be cheaper in doing it the other way around since the last 3 nights are Fri, Sat and Sun? I would really like to stay in the Venetian but it appears to be far too expensive! We also dont want to stay in MGM or Excalibur because we have already been there.
Ive spent HOURS online looking at prices and hotels and ive totally confused myself now!
Can someone please just TELL me what to do? (and book it for me??)
as with all Vegas Hotels weekends are always more expensive on the a Fri/Sat so you will be better to go for the cheaper hotel ( i.e Imperial Palace) for thoose days , if it purely money saving your after. As for which will be the Cheaper between Mandalay Bay and the Bellagio. it could be a close call on price depending on what offer you take ( though i would bet on the Bellagio if pressed)
. i,m keeping my eyes peeled for a Good Mandalay Bay offer in Decemeber as i have not ruled out ditching my Paris booking if the right deal comes along for it.
if one worth while does a appear i will be sure to get it posted here:beer:  cuurent MB offers are for upto sept so i would expect to have to wait till OCT to see somethingBetter in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:0 -
Well we have decided not to go now, after much deliberation we have decided we would like the wedding trip to be the first Vegas trip. You regulars probably wont agree but we dont want to ruin the impact and magic of popping our Vegas cherry, and have decided to keep that for the wedding trip...
So still have 35 return flights for June 08 to book so let me know if anyone sees any good fares!

OUCH !!!! how many   . a late booking is out of the question then :rotfl: :rotfl:
your best bet is a Virgin sale and a Miles plus Money Combo . there should be one coming around after the summer and certainly in the Xmas , New year time. like i said get the Virgin Sale/ fare alert program downloaded on to computer ( you will find it on the UK Virgin Atlantic site) . then you will be alereted on your desktop the day the sale starts.
then try the money and miles trick on top . get your dogs in the traps ( full names and DOB ect) so to speak so you can swoop quickly as the price will go up if they sell enough seats before you get booked. for this size of booking i would recommend a agent over the phone whoever you book with.
BMI price changes are unpredictable as far as i can suss out.there is no pearl of wisdom i can give you that says book at this time in this method to get the best possible price.
my dates were £450+ for ages then one Monday they dropped to under £300 and promptly shot back up 2 days later. the only advice i can give is check everyday on the BMI site if you can and be prepared to act FAST FAST FAST !!!! even then with it being June and your numbers you might never see a big saving.
it also hasn,t been mentioned before but has a price comparsion site ( e.g moneysupermarket) ever thrown up a fantastic fare  ??????? not that i have ever seen or anyone has posted
i also understand your thinking in saving the first "Vegas Baby !!!" impact for your big occasion. it will be even more special with 35 newbies with you. i enjoy this feeling wherever i go ( even Keswick in Cumbria got me smiling and exploring ) and i can say with out doubt that Vegas is the Biggest     " wow i cannot belive i,m here , kid in the worlds best candy shop" feeling i have ever experianced. but we would also love to take someone like my brother and his OH one day and kind of show them sights ect.

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: thats worth pointing out again....bring your most comfy footware as your will do a fair bit of walking even if it's just getting to and from your room.
i would hold off buying something new for the trip though and get down to a factory outlet to snap up some huge discounts ( on top of cheaper than UK prices already) and $2-£1 buying power on top !!!!!
here a the links to big 3. beware they all have very similar names

I spent a fortune in Vegas, we were there for the January sales and i bought 2 pairs of Roxy trainers for less than £20 and that was in the Aladdin shopping mall. The outlets were amazing, Converse tshirts for $10, and my fiance got Diesel trainers for less than £9.Undefeated Wii Fit ski jump champion!

hi guys nd gals booking my flight for 7th november with airtours it £1130 with prem gold seats for 2 from manchester do you think i should wait or take em,also need a good hotel from the 7th till the 10th november then were off exploring till the 18th luxor ave a 3 for 2 then so will be stoppin there from the 18th till 21st wen we fly back
thanks0 -
your basically paying a £565 per person then. i assume this is flight only.
i have no idea what Prem Gold seats are like but a quick type in to google revealed this review site
http://www.airlinequality.com/Forum/my_travel.htm
it all depends on what is your priority is with this flight. is it flying in style and avoiding economy . or are you after the cheapest fare and toughing it out with the likes of me in Cattle class.if the latter is the case your paying at least a few £100 each over the odds.
if the not £565 does not sound to bad for a upper class seat. www.maxjet.com for example will charge as much again for a return flight. will they drop in price i honestly don,t know as this has not come up before and these seats are not listed on the website.. sorry i cannot be more help.
by comparsion
Virgin Premium economy is a rip off IMO, and upper class starts at four figures per person. have not flown BMI yet so cannot comment.
as for a nice hotel in Nov and seeing as your able to consider Upper class, how about a Skyloft starting from a mere $590 a night :rotfl: :rotfl: . below is the copyed and pasted description from http://www.vegas-promotions.com/November-2007/dp/1.htmLive in ultimate luxury in one of MGM Grand's new Skylofts. Enjoy such things as limousine service from the airport, preferred seating to KA, two-story Strip view windows, steam rooms in every master bedroom, and Infinity edge Spa tubs with 32 inch televisions in every bathroom. With one-bedrooms starting from $590, this is the ultimate Las Vegas experience you'll be sure to never forget.
if thats a bit too expensive i recommend waiting a while for the more expensive hotels offers to start appearing or looking at the Mirage in the above link :beer:Better in my pocket than theirs :rotfl:0 -
When's the quiet time for conferences in LV? I've just noticed that a convention for 20000 people is on during my planned dates and wonder what sort of difference it might make.0
