No Worries. I am glad someone would take the time to help. The flight on its own is £407. I just checked . It was £397 about 3 weeks ago and last week it was £405.
Dublin seems handier as we can drive down from Belfast although if we got really good deal could fly from any uk airport that we could get to from belfast. But that would mean overnight prob on way there.....
if you need any further info just ask and thanks again0 -
just to let you know bmi direct from manchester on tuesdays, thursdays and sundays have a sale on at the moment
Many thanks for this. I've been watching the BMI site for weeks and the moment I take my eye off the ball, the sale starts !
Anyway, managed to book direct flights to Vegas for end of July with first 3 nights at the Signature. Might be a bit hot then but it's the wife's birthday so don't really have a choice.
Only 8.1/2 months to go !0 -

If it was me, and i was happy with the flight prices I would book it and then keep an eye out for the hotel deals.
At those prices you have over £300 each for a hotel room for a week.
You should be able to get a hotel room midstrip for less than that, ie Paris for around $100 or £50 a night per room.
BUT you are not me ,and at the end of the day you have to do what you and your friends are comfortable with. The deals for may will not be out until around feb time next year0 -
has anyone tried this? http://www.bigempire.com/vegas/ its a site on saving money in Vegas0

hello all,
just to let you know bmi direct from manchester on tuesdays, thursdays and sundays have a sale on at the moment and I have just booked for 12 nights in September 08 for £321.00 each which I think is pretty good for September.
Now got to wait to book a bargain hotel.
Thanks SO much for the tip off ruthy!!
I have now booked my direct flights out of Manchester with BMI on 29 June 08 - 13 July 08 for £810 for two (which for when the WSOP is on is an extremely great offer!) So I am REALLY pleased - I wouldnt have looked if it wasnt for your post, so a huge thanks.
With the changes happening at Airtours/MyTravel/ThomasCook I thought it best that I pay up front - I couldnt resist those flights and that price :j
They have to be better than MyTravel? Anyone got any feedback from BMI flights direct to Vegas?
Cannot wait - I am excited already - only 7.5 months to go - lol
(Just hope my other half qualifies online to play in the main event now!!!!!!!)
Steff:hello:My name is Steff and I am a Vegas Addict :j0 -

Not exactly a 'bargain', the flights were £511 each but I seem to remember the same flights were about the £800 mark just a couple of weeks back. It's probably one of the most expensive times of the year so there you go. Couldn't wait for 'last minute' flights as we needed specific dates.
Anyway, we ended up booking through Expedia (I know, I know) because we managed to get the first 3 nights in the Signature for an extra £110 each. I thought that was OK as it only works out at about £73 per night. When we stayed there in May we paid just over £100 a night and that was quite good at the time. We'll have to try and 'blag' an upgrade to a 1 Bed Suite, had one last time and it was great !!0
