    thanks Jaymac :T:T:T:T:T

where are you finding the prices ???, they don,t seem to appear on www.thomascook.com and as has been said they are no longer on the My Travel or the Airtours websites . would be very grateful if you could give us the exact method of how you got these quotes too.

    Thanks in advance.;)
Don't know if link will open but it's showing £229 for Nov21 to Dec 5. All I did was go to Thos cook site, clicked view flight deals then clicked on LV priceused the search box. £194 for 7 nights from Nov 21st

this is a new worring devolpment  . i have travelled with Virgin before but i,m not 100% sure i was signed up to the website when i flew.i certainly had not earned any miles before purchasing miles . i had zero problems buying miles and then purchasing a money and miles fare 3 weeks ago. it should stop you on the website if what you are doing is against their T and C,s surely.

i have my E- tickets and a booking ref ect , surely they could not chuck me off the flight when i arrive to check in after they have sold me a ticket ???? being a long time suffer of fairly bad Anxiety this has got me worked up a lot   _pale_

, if i hadn,t have known this i wouldn't have cause to now worry for the next 5 months . which i now will i,m afraid :angry:

does anyone fancy ringing them up to see if they have changed their T&C's ??? there is no date on the current T&C's and i see the web site does not advertise the money and miles fares as it used too so, maybe they have changed things but who knows ??????

Trets dont blame me if you get chucked off!!!

Seriously though there is no way it will happen. You have the ticket, the check in staff will not know how much, or how you have paid.

If you were not going to be able to do it, it would have been stopped at point of purchase.

When I originally pointed m and m out a friend of mine had just done it and had been told to do it by a Virgin travel agent.

I have not done it myself as I have lots of miles in my account, and didnt know about it the first time I flew with them.

Thats what I was trying to say, but you're far more eloquent.

Manchester to LV £184 for 7 or 14 nights from 14th of November.
  • Looking for a bit of advise. Have never been to Las vegas and as i am not a great flyer ( very nervous ) prob wont ever be again.
But have checked out the following for next may
Return Flight from Dub to JFk and then on las Vegas with the following Hotels
    Paris @ £741
    Signature @ MGM @ £763
    Planet Holywood @ £776
    and Ceasars Palace @ £780
There are a few of us going and Out of Dub seems to be the best for us. All of the above are off E - Bookers. Is it wise to book with them ? Heard a few bad reports etc
Also which would you go for as i have no idea at all.
Many thanks in advance as i always get great advise on here.
We are thinking of going 22-29 th May as it was the cheapest price.

You dont say how long for ?

Why not consider flying Dublin to London and then direct to Vegas?
I am going to guess at some prices but dub to london £50, lon to Vegas at most £450..I am paying £280 in march..and then th Paris Would prob be available at around $100 per night per room (£50). thats £25 per person a night based on 2 sharing.

On my prices that is at least £100 saving per person, possibly more.

Having said that the signature at MGM is better than the other three by far and usually costs more, so that may be a good deal.

Caesers palace is next best but some of the rooms are small (in Vegas terms)

Paris and Planet hollywood are similar, I love the PH resort rooms which can sometimes be had with a $20 tip at check in.

I dont think that you will find anyone on here that would advocate doing a package, it is usually cheaper to book flights and accom seperate.

    hi all

am off to vegas with my mum in 3 weeks time:j - and have so far taken lots of advice from this forum......

i'm trying not to book anything in advance if i don't have to and wonder whether anyone has bought phantom tickets (venetian) from the half-price ticket booths? any idea of what the lowest prices might be for good seats?

has anyone seen it and can let me know what they thought of the different seating areas or anything else etc?

    many thanks

Im off to Vegas in 3 weeks also......flying out on 25th Nov. We've booked LOVE tickets and the Ampersand tickets for Penn and Teller. Didnt want to leave popular stuff to the last minute in case not available, or poor seats left, or expensive seats left.

    Staying at Mirage.
