right, took it into branch monday. they wouldnt give reciept or even a slip signed to say they recieved it, so i went to the post office (3 doors away ! ) and sent it recorded LOL

they must of recieved it tuesday and today i got a letter, saying, 'thank you for your letter about reclaiming bank charges, we have passed it to our complaints team' letter dated ---- 3rd January !!!! ha ha. they are a dozy bunch.

that dont surprise me not only did i get the sub post master to verify the exact amount of statements i enclosed in the letter he also signed a wee pice of paper to say he witnessed my self sealing the envelope in the post office ;-)

when i rang the bank the first thing i got was "we might not have received it yet" thing is if i didant take these steps and they "lost all them statements"
i am sure they would try to charge me for replacements was avin none of it
  • best bit... just reread letter, laughing about joke and notice its not even my name... obviously poor mrs humpreies who sent them a letter dated 1-1-07 has had her letter sent out to everyone and all they did was change the address to my address, my letter was sent 15th and my name not mrs humpries, --- should i complain?

  • Im just wondering has anyone claimed from these and if nso do they have the address to get the statements from and then address to send claim too!!!

    regards
  • If you don't have a statement to hand Google for the address of the company.
  • Sorry if this is posted elsewhere but a search revealed nothing.

I have received my statements from the Bank Of Scotland and my total charges are over £5000, I plan to claw back every penny even it if means actually going to court.

Anyway, I sent my first letter to my local branch requesting my charge details, the statements came back from another department, so I take it they passed it on.

The only problem is, do I send the second letter to my branch or is there a direct address I send it to?

Anyone now the address if there is?

    Any help appreciated

    Hi everyone,

I want to send DPA's off to Tesco and Mint but I'm unsure where to send the requests, does anyone have any experience of claiming from these companies or can anyone help?

    Many thanks in anticipation
