    Hi all...

I've already sent my request to the Halifax for a record of my charges but I sent it to my branch. I think I may have sent it to the wrong place. Does anybody know the correct address for requests regarding records of charges.

    Thanks in advance...Stuart

You can send onto your branch as they will just forward it onto the relevant department. Have you waited the full 40 days yet?

  • This might seem like a silly question but I am carrying out a re-claim of charges for my son against Lloyds TSB, they ignored my first request but then we got a reply from the customer services head office in Andover explaining that all charges are made clear etc etc in the terms & conditions and I should either go to the ombudsman or ignore the letter and they will let it drop.Very nice of them:rolleyes:

Now my question is, as I am about to issue court proceedings, what Lloyds address do I put on the claim to receive the court papers, my sons local branch, the head office or the customer service centre who responded to my original letter?

Also should I respond to the customer services letter by informing them that court action will now be taken?

    All help would be appreciated

Any official office of the defendant is fine as long as it's in England. Most claims I've helped with I've used the Head Office.

No need to inform them. They will soon find out when the court papers come their way.

This is a question to anyone that has been past the stage of sening out a prelim letter.
I found it quite difficult to find the correct address for the SAR letter as everyone had a different one to use.
I eventually used the one in Bishopsgate London.
however now that i have gotten past that stage, i would like to send on a prelim letter as i have worked out how much of charges i can claim back.
however i am back at that same problem
Who on earth do i send it to?

    Thanks in advance

I have been trawling through the consumer action website forum and everyone sas something different some say Joyce Tudor others say to avoid her like the plague.

    Thanks in advance
