Awww - it's lovely when they start saying words.

Charlotte babbles to me, but I haven't a clue what she is telling me. She does shout "laaaaaa" at the dog though, so maybe that's his new name :D

ladies... dont tell the men this (unless he has really p!ssed you off!) but those first dadadadada noises are completely unrelated to him being known as dad,
sad but true my 3 year old niece never had a man in her life, her father (did i say father? i mean good for nothing sperm donor) ditched my sister mid way through pregnancy and yet her first noises were also dadada, and she never even heard the word daddy (unless it was from the womb and followed by "is an @rsehole" :D )

Lol Curious George, I know it's not really funny but your post made me chuckle!

Natasha babbles some really funny things - she seems to say 'hiya' quite a lot, and once said 'go away' really clearly to Stu! :rotfl:

I made her giggle today for the first time ever, I'm sooo happy!! (Stu made her giggle a few days ago, but she wouldn't do it for me )

We actually caught the first time she giggled on video - she was grinning as Stu was tickling her feet on his stubbly chin, so I got the camera, and she suddenly laughed her head off while I was filming - the video is here, if anyone wants to see it!

    awwww - that's a lovely video

Charlotte giggles when she's naked and you say "what do we do to tummies?" then blow big raspberries on her :D

I bought a rattle in the shape of a crab yesterday and she loves it. She spent all last night shaking it. They're in Tesco for £1.97.

snaggles, video is just so gorgeous. I remember first time DD1 laughed it made me cry, we were at post natal group doing round and round garden at the time! I look forward to hearing Hayden giggle, he is properly smiling at us now- just beautiful but keep getting there too late with camera!

Lol, it's nigh on impossible to catch them smiling on a photo isn't it? I'm sure they know what we're up to..

I'll have to look out for the crab rattles - Tasha is really getting into toys now!

Oh, and sorry for calling you Charlotte the other day Becles....got confused! :D I've edited the post now. :o

Tesco had a few different rattles but it was the eyes on the crab that Charlotte liked!

They also had some mini musical instruments, such as bells on a wristband. They said from age 2, but I think they would be fun with careful supervision for smaller babies. Anything that makes a noise is fun - lol!
