Thanks Lu T. We managed 12-2 and 3-7 fast asleep last night :T but we're still pooped. He's just had brekkie and his dad's still snoozing ... . I'm managing all the lifting by myself, it seems to be walking that's killing me. I'll merrily shove the pram for miles but then the next day I feel terribly bruised. The weight's falling off though - I've lost nearly 2 stones since the morning of the section (13 days ago) :D so I'm now lighter than I was when I got pregnant! I'm still about 4 stones overweight though :o. Hooray for BF!

    Good morning.

Eels glad to hear you are settling in nicely.

I'm finding sleep and night feeds ok now. Don't have much choice with 3 little ones though. Hayden bit unsettled in warm weather however I offered him some water which he has happily taken and means he's not on my boob every two hours, 3-4 I can cope with! 2 I can't.

I was told not to push a pram for 6 weeks after my section? Take it easy.

Imogen's started rolling over on to her front in her sleep  At 7.5 months she can roll on to her front, but can't get back again so she wakes up and cries. Last night it was 1.15am and 2.45am  We're just not used to being up in the night any more!

I'm not overly worried about her sleeping on her front - although I know it's not ideal she's past the cot-death danger zone - I'm more concerned that she rolls over and can't get back again.

I think last night was worse because she wasn't in her sleeping bag - too hot. But she has also rolled over in that.

Anyone have any ideas about what we can do? I'm wondering about one of those block things that you lie them in between, but not sure if that would frustrate her because she's not a newborn.

    Help!

Lu T- before you invest in block thing, try some rolled up blankets/sheets either side but tie it up so she can't pull over her loose.

Just feeding little one, off to have his hearing test done- got to go 20 miles for it so have been trying to work out when was best to feed travel etc- dynamics of everything so much harder with 3 in tow! Not sure why can't have done locally, bit of a pain really.

Heather - that's fab! How old is little one? It's so exciting when they hit a new stage isn't it? If expensive.
    she's 9 months.
we're off to the hospital on wednesday as the dr thought she might have a lazy eye, and it was picked up on the 6/7 months checkup.
Not worried though as my sister and husband both had lazy eyes as children, my sister wears glasses for reading and DH stopped needing them about 5-6 years ago.

    Hi guys

Off for our Tuesday picnic with the other pre-school families today- we are making most of sunshine!

Hayden's hearing test all fine, took 5 mins but a bit annoyed had to travel 40 mile round trip for it for such a quick test with three kids in tow, nevermind. Worth knowing all is ok.

Hope all is ok with you guys.

We had an awful evening last night. Imogen got so upset at keep rolling over in bed she threw up all over me. Cue quick wash in the bath, fan on in her room and putting her flush up against the side of the cot she normally rolls over on to.

Finally she fell asleep after 30 mins of crying, 30 mins later she's awake and screaming - and promptly throws up all over hubby! We went through 3 sleepsuits, a sleeping bag, and an outfit each for me and Pete. She was so upset with herself, bless her.

Hubby's been off with her this morning and I'm having this afternoon off. She's not 100%, think it's her teeth. I'm taking her to clinic this pm and will chat with HV to try to get any ideas.

Keep your fingers crossed she picks up.

Oh yes, my little man is growing up far too fast! hes 13 months but sometimes can act like hes 4 with the tantrums hes having recently. He is learning everything so quickly. It is amazing yet frightening at the same time!

I have begun to understand his baby talk now. "que" is thank you and it is so sweet when you give him something and he looks at you and says "que" and smiles :) hehe

Lu, have you tried putting you daughter to sleep on her tummy so she doesnt roll over? It wont be long till she works out how to get back again but is probably rolling over with such force she is getting a fright and waking up!

Netto have baby matress memory foam toppers just now with a fleacy top. They feel really soft and comfy. She might not find this as hard rolling onto and the memory foam might help keep her in place

i hope she is feeling better. Having broken nights sleep really plays havoc on you!
